If you are easygoing enough to try a simple kiosk you will remain enchanted of this place. Their sandwiches are so tasty and abundant that it was nominated years ago the best restaurant of Milan even though it is a simple stand :) This tiny place offer as well boards of cheeses and cold cuts that many, especially nearby, restaurants could envy. The convenience of the prices feels almost unreal both of food and drinks. Just by the magnificent Sforzesco Castle it offers even a great view and in the summer launches jazz, blues and rock'n'roll live music. The only "disadvantage" you have to endure for all this amazing experience is cash only payment and dependence on nearby public rest rooms as the location does not posses ones. You cannot have everything ;) I personally prefer to get all this experience with its haves not than have it other...

Chiosco Squadre Calcio, right in front of the impressive Sforza Castle, is a true Milanese street-food gem. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, with locals and tourists mixing over quick bites and casual drinks. Their panini stand out: warm bread, fresh ingredients, and generous fillings that deliver big flavor at a very fair price considering the central location. Service is friendly and fast, making it easy to stop by before or after exploring the castle and park. While some sandwiches can feel a little greasy and the cocktails aren’t the strongest in town, the overall experience is warm, authentic, and satisfying. For anyone wanting a simple, tasty, and affordable break in the heart of Milan, this little kiosk is...

The Maradona at Chiosco Squadre Calcio is possibly the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. (For reference, I turn forty next month and have eaten sandwiches in several countries on three continents.) I only stopped by because I was hungry and in a hurry, looking for a quick bite before a "proper" meal later. I had no clue about their superior sandwich game. I ended up going back to grab a takeaway for dinner--this time the Ibrahimovich, which was also delicious. The Maradona, though, tasted like a miracle to me. Many thanks to the lady who made my sandwiches! Cannot wait to visit again.
