Do not go here! It was a disappointing experience, as such to make me write this review to warn others.
The food was not worth what you pay for the price, the Cotoletta is 90% covered in breadcrumbs cooking oil and tastes dry with hardly any meat inside the dish itself, potatoes were cold and don’t taste fresh. The other order of Egg pasta porcini mushrooms tasted like a canned microwaved food meal just placed on a plate last minute, with all that gooey rancid taste… to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised that I am the last one to to get food poisoning from this place.
The service was great either to be honest, waiters and other staff there all looked like they would rather be anywhere else in the world. Had to repeatedly call and wave to them as though you are invisible, even though they are are so close by and right next you, it was strange.
The atmosphere is nothing much, it looks out dated and there hasn’t been much effort to renew table cutlery and the surrounding interior and exterior sections of the restaurant. Also from the few people that were there I can understand now why their mood and the vibe of the whole place from customers to staff felt so depressing.
Overall to be honest i am quite surprised this place has reviews higher than 1/2 stars on google maps, avoid this place for your own good, don’t waste your time and money here. It was a disappointment to dine at this restaurant as an...
Read moreThis restaurant looks nice from the outside but I wondered why it was so quiet compared to others in the area. We soon found out when we entered as the very rude and abrupt front of house ‘man’ grunted when we asked to sit outside. It only got worse as a succession of waiters forgot what drinks we ordered - that’s if they could be bothered to attend to us in between cigarettes and chatting to each other. I must admit the food was ok when it finally arrived (I was told very late on that my choice wasn’t available!). Once we finished eating we asked for the bill, and we had already decided that there was no way we would leave a tip with this kind of ‘service’. Unfortunately we had to see Mr grumpy front of house man to pay...he almost threw the bill at us. It was then I was horrified to discover they had charged us €12 service charge. I argued the case and said the service was non existent and very bad to which he replied ‘in Italy we pay a service charge’. I threw down the extortionate amount and we walked out grumbling about how bad this experience was. I implore anyone considering eating at this ‘restaurant’ to go elsewhere...this was the worst experience of our holiday and you’ll regret the almost comedic experience of being served (or ignored) at this joke of a place...I wish I could give it zero stars but google...
Read moreWow. Best dinner I've had in Milan since we got here! I would like to point out some things before I say why this place is so great. In Europe they do not have the same customs in the USA like 1. eating FAST, getting in and getting out and 2. the tab includes 15% service charge for dinner. Also, service, like many places reflects the time you arrive. aMost Italian restaurants do make meals to order so obviously this slows down the process. As well, most restaurants don't have 20 waiters at your beg and call, BUT that doesn't mean you can't still have great service! Everything we ate was DELICIOUS. We had the fried appetizer with croquettes, shares the carbonara, the chicken plate, and the tiramisu and everything tasted fresh and flavorful!!! The waiters were very kind, very attentive, and very professional. One even helped us decide on how much food we should get in order to be full but not get too much. The atmosphere was amazing. The decorations, tables, and set up we're all gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable! My best advice is give this restaurant a try and maybe try to get there right before dinner time around 7 or 8 in order to beat the rush and be paid the attention you...
