Costa Sigieri - ristorante di pesce - cucina sarda — Restaurant in Milan

Vado in Sardegna da 42 anni, sono praticamente sarda d'adozione, nonché esperta della loro cucina. Al Costa Sigieri si mangia da DIO! Porzioni abbondanti ad un prezzo giusto (l'antipasto di crudo è praticamente un vassoio...negli altri ristoranti è un piattino!), e tutto è cucinato in maniera straordinaria. I miei hanno preso primi di pesce davvero ottimi, mentre io ho scelto i malloreddusu alla Campidanese, ed erano talmente buoni che avevo paura di finirli! Pura poesia quel sugo di pomodoro con salsiccia e pecorino, e gli gnocchetti (come le linguine e gli spaghetti) perfettamente al dente. A questo si aggiunge la simpatia assoluta del titolare che non manca di farti sapere che è calabrese! Ma ha moglie sarda e soprattutto un cuoco sardo D.O.C.!!! Walter ti accoglie con grande calore, ti fa sentire a casa, e ti fa pure ridere un sacco. Tutte cose che fanno la differenza in un mondo dove sono tutti arrabbiati, stressati e imbronciati, ormai anche nei ristoranti, dove la cortesia dovrebbe essere un requisito base. L'ambiente è elegante, forse solo un po' freddo; i dolci al carrello non mi sono sembrati all'altezza della qualità del resto (in primis la tarte tatin pallidissima), ma noi abbiamo preso la seadas e con quella non si sbaglia mai! Miele un po' amarognolo per i miei gusti, ma ai miei piaceva così. Consiglio una spolverata di scorza di limone sopra, come fanno in Gallura, per un delizioso tocco di classe. Ma in sintesi, il Costa Sigieri è in assoluto il MIGLIOR RISTORANTE SARDO di MILANO! I’m not sure where to begin. The atmosphere? The service? Amazing. We showed up without a reservation on a very busy Saturday night. We were greeted by the owner. He sat us on the patio. And what ensued was nothing short of an Eat, Pray, Love experience. The owner visited our table several times and taught us about the local town he was from in southern Italy through wine, spirits, and food. We laughed until we cried and we will carry this experience as our favorite night during our five country trip throughout Europe. Molto Bene...

Absolutely delicious. You must stop here on your way through Milano. The chef floored us with his fantastic seafood dishes, which are all fresh and beautifully presented. Seasoning was perfect, the flavours were also perfectly balanced. The waiting staff were a delight, and it's the best meal I had during my 2.5 day trip. Cannot recommend enough! PS - they do deliver food as well, but this is definitely a place where the food is best enjoyed as...
