Food is good, location also, but jeez... the service. Can't get worse than that. Besides the very little attention given to us, we've been sitting with four people at a two-person table for the whole night and, when the table next to us freed up and we kindly asked to expand to it (it was already 11pm and many other tables were free), they said it may be reserved even though it has then been free for the whole rest of the night. I'd understand the lack of attention and care if there were only two waiters with a huge crowd of customers to serve, but the waiters were plenty and we basically had to please them even to go pay. After all, 25€ each was a bit of a crazy amount for 4 small tacos and a glass of wine, considering how negative the overall experience has been. (And 7€ for a 0.4 Ayinger beer vom Fass? Seriously?!)

A location in a splendid position in the center of Brera, the artists' district of Milan. We chose to spend a lunch break here, on the tables outside, with a splendid view of the cobbled Piazza del Carmine. The location is large and the external part seems to be the favorite of the numerous tourists who flock to the city. The tables and the mise en place are simple and do not have tablecloths. The service was courteous and professional. We chose a vegetable dip with a very interesting sweet and sour sauce. To continue with a Franciacorta risotto with prawns. All washed down with an excellent Italian sparkling wine Cá del Bosco. We really had fun and relaxed. From today this is a place that I will remember every time I return to the city.

Previously had some aperitivos in this place. Was average. But today for lunch i decided to order chicken fingers. As you can see from the photo they arrived together with potatoes and salsa. When I say together, I mean together. Everything was mixed inside. In normal places salsa is put at least in a separate container. Over-cooked and burned chicken sticks. And the most disgust I found eating potatoes. One of them definetly was not of a good quality. Do not recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

God Save The Food (Duomo)

Went there last Tuesday & we were really upset with the service to the extend we left without ordering anything. We were told off when we’re trying to get a place in one of the tables. The staff could nicely say it’s reserved instead of saying no no no reserved.

We’re fine with that since maybe it’s our fault trying to secure a place. After few mins wandering and getting ignored by the same staff, we managed to get seat. The staff came saying that we should not just sit & we should wait until seated. (God knows how long we’ve waited and getting ignored!!)

Then came two ladies sitting and they just sat without waiting to get seated nor they were told off like we did. They even get their menu first even we arrived before them.

After getting the menu, we had to wait even longer to order. The staff was there but she were getting order from another group that came way later than us (they came after the two ladies).

Feeling ill treated, we left.

Such a double standard. Maybe because we’re wearing hijab.

We went there because of the good review and we really wanted to try their food. By writing this, I hope the management would do something to make sure it does not happen again. Everyone deserves equal treatment regardless of...

October 31, 2024 at 17:00: We came in for a simple beer before heading to dinner. Despite there only being a few people sitting outside, our server didn't come to take our order for 10 minutes. I walked over to him and said, do I have to order at the bar or will you take our order? He very rudely said, what do you want? As if he hadn't sat us down 10 minutes before and known we hadn't ordered. What kind of manners are "what do you want?" for someone working in the service industry? Unacceptable. I wasn't going to let him ruin my vibe though, so I still ordered 2 beers and after a couple of minutes paid at the bar. The person working there (male, darker skin, curly hair) was much more polite, so kudos to him for being a decent person. Will not be returning to this place and I do...
