Not only that they were happy to help with any info regarding the menu or wine pairing, but they also helped me charge my phone inside (although I did not have any cables with me), which I really appreciated. We also had some small talk about Milan and they were genuinely glad to help us with recommendations and I really loved that. A great restaurant located in Naviglio Grand, near the river, with a laid back vibe. Also, pretty affordable considering that the food is very good. Most restaurants don’t really figure out how to succesfully mix affordability with great food quality and a great experience, but somehow, they managed to do so, and I’m glad I went there.

Well… first of all… charging for service is good for hospitality, so we can ensure about the main pillars of hospitality in a restaurant facing many guest daily BUT NEVER IN MY LIFE SOMEONE HAS CHARGE ME FOR SERVICE AND THEN FOR BREAD AND THEN SMILE LIKE, EVERYWHERE IS THE SAME I really hope the owner, person in charge or even the waiter with who I was talking about see this Cold cuts are always been serve with bread. Service isn’t for the waiter going in and out, is because of table fee, as the cutlery, the plates (plastic both of them) glass (plastic) Never less, even asking about which kind of chianti were they serving and only answer was “is good for cheese, meat” My partner and myself are allergic to cheese and far from there, about wine a server should know a bit more from the origin, ingredients the grape, the year, etc Even mentioning this “details” to this gentleman who declined to serve some more ice to a lady with an aperol spritz arguing “we sold all ice, no más ice” .. the extra charge of my check was the service and the regular bread as I was offered “focaccia” none mentioned to me was extra.. (3€, not expensive, but as a waiter, you need to let guest know about what comes with the plate and what is extra…” as there weren’t any bread with the cold cuts table Disaster, catástrofe. By the way, I also do this kind of job in hospitality and never could have left a guest like this and even not apologies for the inconvenience or the miss understanding or whatever

Recently, I visited La Proscuitteria on Saturday and I would highly recommend this place for meat and cheese lovers. We have taken the assorted gourmet cut board and I must say then quantity of food was quite alot and all the food items tasted amazing. Although, the food was amazing, I really didn’t like the service much as I encountered a very peculiar experience where the waitress informed us that we can only sit for two hours and we have to leave the place, upon asking if we can switch to another table once a table is available she infact refused to do so. However, people who came after us were all given seats without any condition like this. Sometimes, I feel more than the food it’s the customer experience matters a lot and here the customer experience was least. I thoroughly enjoyed food with my company but would want to experience such a customer service ever.

Cute little vibe and exactly what we were looking for as mid afternoon snack and wine tasting hang, but only thing was that even though there were loads of free tables we stood standing at the counter for 30 minutes being ignored while the waiters cleared the other tables. My friend and I literally stood there waiting and waiting to place an order and you couldn’t sit down at a table to order, so after a long days walking and just wanting a little rest, it felt like a bit much making us wait around like that. There must be a better system to look after new customers that just want a quick in and out when there are loads of free tables and while all other already present customers are about to leave? Anyway. Still a cute place and nice meats and cheeses and fab bustling area

Located in the middle of Navigli. Inside looks cozy and nice, however, since it’s summer and very warm they are directing you towards sitting outside. The food and spritz were great, the drink arrived fast but I think the waiter forgot my sandwich, a lot of people that ordered after me received theirs first, mine only came when I asked if they were preparing it. The very negative point: it’s impossible to sit outside by the number of pigeons that try to fly over your table and food, very annoying and make the meal stressful. I almost got my drink spilled by a pigeon first, it’s very annoying and uncomfortable. They don’t have many vegetarian options, for sandwiches I cannot even remember one.

Great. Lined up along the Navigli canals sit a number of lovely places to have an aperitif, best supported with some cold cuts. This place has been around for a while, yet remained true to its style and does a great job delivering on those taglieri (cold cut platters). We have the small one to share, which turned out more than good enough. Best of all, they also serve gluten free bread or crackers in case you’re in need of. Much loved the atmosphere, would have been amazing to sit outside. Service was great, you really feel at home here. 🇮🇹❤️
