Service isn’t for the waiter going in and out, is because of table fee, as the cutlery, the plates (plastic both of them) glass (plastic) Never less, even asking about which kind of chianti were they serving and only answer was “is good for cheese, meat” My partner and myself are allergic to cheese and far from there, about wine a server should know a bit more from the origin, ingredients the grape, the year, etc Even mentioning this “details” to this gentleman who declined to serve some more ice to a lady with an aperol spritz arguing “we sold all ice, no más ice” .. the extra charge of my check was the service and the regular bread as I was offered “focaccia” none mentioned to me was extra.. (3€, not expensive, but as a waiter, you need to let guest know about what comes with the plate and what is extra…” as there weren’t any bread with the cold cuts table Disaster, catástrofe. By the way, I also do this kind of job in hospitality and never could have left a guest like this and even not apologies for the inconvenience or the miss understanding or whatever

Recently, I visited La Proscuitteria on Saturday and I would highly recommend this place for meat and cheese lovers. We have taken the assorted gourmet cut board and I must say then quantity of food was quite alot and all the food items tasted amazing. Although, the food was amazing, I really didn’t like the service much as I encountered a very peculiar experience where the waitress informed us that we can only sit for two hours and we have to leave the place, upon asking if we can switch to another table once a table is available she infact refused to do so. However, people who came after us were all given seats without any condition like this. Sometimes, I feel more than the food it’s the customer experience matters a lot and here the customer experience was least. I thoroughly enjoyed food with my company but would want to experience such a customer service ever.

Recently, I visited La Proscuitteria on Saturday and I would highly recommend this place for meat and cheese lovers. We have taken the assorted gourmet cut board and I must say then quantity of food was quite alot and all the food items tasted amazing. Although, the food was amazing, I really didn’t like the service much as I encountered a very peculiar experience where the waitress informed us that we can only sit for two hours and we have to leave the place, upon asking if we can switch to another table once a table is available she infact refused to do so. However, people who came after us were all given seats without any condition like this. Sometimes, I feel more than the food it’s the customer experience matters a lot and here the customer experience was least. I thoroughly enjoyed food with my company but would want to experience such a customer service ever.

Premetto che sono tornato per la seconda volta in questo locale perché, onestamente, mi ero trovato bene e rispetto ad altri locali milanesi il rapporto qualità prezzo è ancora tollerabile. C'è però una cosa che è intollerabile e inaccettabile nel 2024, la strafottenza,la presa in giro e la mancanza di rispetto nei confronti del cliente. Eravamo al tavolo e prendiamo le ordinazioni, chiedo alla cameriera un tipo di birra e ci avvisa che era APPENA finita quindi non disponibile (guarda caso la stessa birra, comunissima, che avevo chiesto 3 mesi prima e sempre riportata nel menu ma che a quanto pare va così a ruba che non c'è modo di averla). Ordiniamo dei piatti tra cui una selezione di formaggi dove da menù è presente anche una mozzarella di bufala da 125 gr. La ragazza prende l'ordine ma senza avvisarci come è stato per la birra, ora capirete perché, adesso arriva il bello. Arriva il suddetto piatto con una burrata per di più con pezzatura decisamente più piccola. Vado dentro e faccio presente a i 3 addetti dietro al bancone. Uno dei tre, probabilmente il responsabile perché poi é stato lo stesso che ha creato questa brutta situazione al momento del pagamento, dice:"ah ma perché non vi hanno avvisato??" rispondo di no. Spiego la situazione con molta calma ed educazione ma comunque scarica la colpa sulla cameriera senza nemmeno scusarsi o cercare una soluzione. Sorvolo e torno fuori con i tre addetti che mi guardavano come se gli avessi offesso le madri o chissà cosa. Ma vabbé. Lasciamo correre. Viene fuori un'altra cameriera a cui facciamo presente e probabilmente era l'unica che sapesse il suo mestiere, modi gentili, dispiaciuta, quanto meno si è dimostrata disponibile e comprensiva. Al momento del conto il "responsabile" fa il conto totale di 50,4 €. Diciamo di aver mangiato comunque bene però facciamo presente nuovamente l'accaduto, anche per capire come avrebbero gestito questo loro errore e mancanza nei nostri confronti, il nostro interesse non era risparmiare o non pagare perché spendere qualche euro in più, o in meno, non ci avrebbe mandato in bancarotta. È una questione di principio ragazzi, è l'abc dell'ospitalità, la richiesta di un cliente deve essere quanto meno ACCOLTA anche se non si può soddisfare, è la base, specie quando i clienti sono educati, rispettosi e si dimostrano comprensivi. Gli errori capitano, ci sta. Lui non solo si giustifica dicendo "Eh ma l'hai mangiata ormai, anche gli altri clienti la mangiano senza fare storie, non avresti dovuta mangiarla" ed altre giustificazioni evitabili tra cui, ciliegina sulla torta, il fatto che lui fosse pugliese e quindi che comunque non ci fosse nessuna differenza di qualità o pezzatura tra una semplice burrata e una mozzarella di bufala. Non solo è stata una loro mancanza, un loro errore, ci ha praticamente incolpati per la situazione, noi che abbiamo prontamente segnalato inizialmente (non per polemizzare, ripeto, ma per correttezza, sappiamo mangiare, conosco ciò che mangio e se ordino una cosa esigo che sia quella altrimenti prendo altro se mi si dice). Per di più, con modo antipatico e strafottente insinua che stessi facendo solo polemica per non pagare. Al che, infastidito e parecchio scocciato, chiedo di chiudere la questione e che mi facesse pagare il conto totale, a quel punto volevamo solo andare via. Non solo ha continuato a polemizzare a oltranza ma non ha avuto nemmeno il GARBO di chiedere mezza volta SCUSA, nemmeno dire "abbiamo sbagliato possiamo offrirvi un caffè? Possiamo rimediare? Qualcosa da bere?" Anche levare i 40 centesimi dal conto sarebbe stato quanto meno accettabile! Ci aspettavamo un minimo segnale di riconciliazione e professionalità. We visited as a couple around 6 PM and ordered two different tagliere along with a bottle of wine. Since we enjoyed it, we decided to order a second bottle. It’s worth noting that we were seated outdoors.

At some point, we decided to light a cigarette. Although we are not regular smokers, we always carry cigarettes for special occasions. Shortly after, we were told that our cigarette was bothering the couple seated behind us.

Our conclusion? Since the couple behind us were Italians (not tourists), we were forced to put out our IQOS, even though there were plenty of people smoking regular cigarettes around us. It seems that the staff treats customers differently based on nationality or depending on how busy they are.

To top it off, when we paid the €90 bill and voiced our concerns, they suddenly “didn’t understand English.” Excellent product quality, but completely...
