Chunk Milano — Restaurant in Milan

Even if this place replaces the Rebelot which was one of my faves in the area i would say good value especially considering where it is. Wine selection is huge with a lot of Natural wines which are surprisingly not that common in Milan yet while beer list is good but with room from improvement. Food is mostly around smoked meat with smoked sides which is good if you like it but might be a problem if you are with a big party and some people has different tastes. Went to Chunk near canal Naviligi and BB who served us was one of the best waiters I've ever came across at a restaurant. So generous!! Giving us free melon shots, crisps with each drink and even extra packets of crisps for our plane ride at home - He knew we were heading to the airport after our meal. Plus, he kindly gave my mom a plate of bruchetta on the house as me and my sisters wandered round the area. Really recommend stopping off here if you're in the area. This place met our expectations — we had a modest 3-star level of expectation going in.

The aperitifs were on the smaller side and not particularly flavorful, but the overall ambiance was pleasant. Beverages like Aperol or beer are priced at €7, which is in line with other places on the same street. That said, you can find them for around €5 just a few blocks away, on the street crossing the canal.
