Mediterranea - Santa Marta — Restaurant in Milan

I don't normally leave reviews, but this place truly deserves zero stars. I booked a dinner on the terrace for two people five days in advance. On the day of the reservation, I received a WhatsApp message saying there had been a mix-up and that a private event was taking place, so they wouldn’t be able to honor my booking. They apologized and offered 25% off the bill if I agreed to change the date or dine indoors. I thought that was a nice gesture, so I said sure, let’s change the date (since the reason I'd booked was to dine on the terrace, not indoors).

Then they stopped replying.

I followed up to ask when they had availability. Eventually, they responded, and I agreed to one of the dates they suggested. But they never confirmed the booking. The day before the supposed reservation, I sent another message asking if my booking was confirmed—they just left me on read.

We had the worst experience with average food at this restaurant. First they didn’t bring us menu and “accidentally “ forgot to bring the bread to us. The servers are so frantic and chaotic making it hard to get their attention and also making us feel stressed when dining in, and the food is just mediocre, the risotto tasted nothing special for the price, and the fried fish with couscous was cold and unfulfilling.

And they charged us 4 bottles of still water when we only had 2 bottles, when asking for new bill the waitress never brought us the new bill, and took us ages to just pay the bill. I wouldn’t recommend anyone...

Esperienza pessima a causa della enorme maleducazione del responsabile e della scarsa professionalità dei camerieri. Mi è stato rovesciato addosso un vassoio con almeno 6 calici di spumante e non ho ricevuto nessuna scusa spontanea dal responsabile né mi è stato offerto un aiuto. Ero completamente bagnata dalla testa in giù su tutto il lato sinistro, compreso cappotto e borsa. Per il personale, come se non fosse successo nulla o quasi. Solo dopo un bel po di tempo il cameriere è tornato con un po di carta, senza neanche chiedere se potesse fare qualcosa per me. Quando sono andata a far presente l'accaduto al responsabile, che alle 22 si stava cambiando ed era visibilmente scocciato dal fatto che io gli facessi perdere tempo, prima ha risposto in modo neanche velatamente sarcastico che si scusava umilmente, poi, visto che io gli facevo notare il tono, ha cominciato ad alzare la voce per intimorirmi e ha continuato a trattarmi con sufficienza ed arroganza, dicendo che può capitare d che non poteva farci niente, interrompendomi e parlandomi sopra, alzando continuamente il tono di voce. Non consiglio a nessuno questo posto. Per il cibo non ne vale la pena. Per il servizio, a meno che non gradiate modi rozzi, arroganti e toni francamente aggressivi e servizio improvvisato, davvero lo sconsiglio. La musica dal vivo sarebbe anche piacevole se non fosse a volume così alto da rendere impossibile parlare con le persone al proprio tavolo. A Milano esistono tantissimi locali dove trovare cortesia e buon cibo. Non è assolutamente...
