When travelling, we always look for a friendly "base of operations", a cosy neighbourhood cafe&bar where to start and end the day, get some tips and insights of local customs. Morna bar is one of the rare finds that excels at this. Order your favorite drink (has to be a Negroni), ask for a table indoors or outdoors and immerse yourself in the world of regulars, young families, afterwork office workers and gentlemen playing bocci. Insane bar - in a former gelateria, the atmosphere is amazing. Its indoor / outdoor with a cool patio and the clientele is such a vibe. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. It's the best example of Milan's bar street culture you can get. They are super welcoming to English speakers.
