So, if you're a foodie, searching for authentic Italian cuisine, please stop reading now.
If you're a family of let's say four people, or suffering from a limited budget, this might be for you.
First of all, it's nothing italien owned, it's run by Chinese, and there are ups and downs to that. I found service fast and helpful, prices were the best I encountered in Milano (central area) and the food was ok. Had the mixed cheese and salami platter followed by the pasta Carbonara, 0,5 lit of San pellegrino and a bottle of Valpolicella Superiore. Add to that a fair amount of Focaccia and the bill totaled 37,5€.
That means, if you're a family of four, you can have two plates of mixed starters, four pastas, one bottle of wine, water and perhaps a dessert and land at a 100€. In this city, that should not be laughed at since you can be double that in some supposed fancier places, without much of an improvement.
Not exactly what I expected but I do see the point, everyone has to eat and this establishment...
Read moreSo im dialing in this review after taking away a pizza for dinner; ive not tasted it yet. I'm however giving this place 1 stars only because of how bad/biased the service is. Im brown, im not sure if brown ppl are looked at differently in italy, but yea, from the get go, it was bad. I had a long day and looked rather haggard with 3 beers in my hand. I walked into this premise and i was quite surprised to see a pizzeria operated by chinese people, kudos to that! But when i walked in, i was "confronted", With just nods to know what i wanted. I kept calm and told him i wanted to take away a pizza. That was settled and i felt abit uneasy, to the way i was treated, well i thought ill give them the benefit of doubt. In walks a group of 4 italians for dinner and this dude smiles wide welcoming them. Ive visited italy many times, and not once ive experienced this sorta treatment. Guess there's a first time to everything. Okay, so whats the message here? Not white, eff off? Man that was...
Read moreService is terrible. Sorry to say but it's the typical Chinese management where the client is poorly considered. All main courses are brought to the table in different unacceptable times. You finish to eat when your friend is nearly starting. We needed to solicit 3 times after waiting one hour long for three dishes of pasta. Service is not always like that but it's random if you get the good or the bad day. Location could be nice but it's intentionally overcrowded with more tables that could contain. The result is even a table in front of a security fire exit! Overcrowded means noisy. It's popular by nearby offices employees at lunch hours. Food is nearly acceptable. Pizzas dough is nothing remarkable but eatable even if not cooked properly. The same for pasta dishes. They are good but it's too much dry and there is no enough sauce.
Prices are fair and cheap enough compared to the above description. A bit disappointing of getting no receipt at all...
