Parco Sushi Sashimi — Restaurant in Milan

We ordered two plates of yaki soba, a bowl of miso soup, and 6 rolls of avocado sushi.

Without the black sweetened soya sauce, the taste of the two yaki sobas dishes wouldn’t have make it, but this is not how soba dishes should taste like; the sweet sauce shouldn’t kill the taste of the soba noodle and the noodle shouldn’t be too wet. As for the miso soup, i think it’s just miso paste mixed in hot water with a few pieces of dry seaweed thrown in to garnish the soup. The rolls of avocado sushi couldn’t make the mark; the rice was too wet for sushi making, there wasn’t enough of vinegar in the rice, which caused the individual grain of rice to stick together. You know you have produced a good roll when the seaweed stayed crispy even when it was wrapped around the rice. For purveyors of good food, being detail matters.

Overall, the taste was below average for the price being paid. However, I would give this restaurant a bonus star because I like my food carrying some degree of sweetness, and for the fact that there was a slice of lemon in the glass of ice for the Coke Zero I have ordered.

In total, it’s 2 Stars for this restaurant. I cannot give more, especially when the restaurant owner couldn’t get the name of his/her dish right; it’s not ‘Soba Yasay’, but ‘Soba Yasai’ (yasai = やさい or 野菜...

Abbiamo pranzato sabato. La località è piacevole e all'interno è ragionevolmente tranquilla, ma avremmo potuto fare a meno della TV. Quando abbiamo visto i prezzi sul menu ho voluto andare via ma mia moglie era troppo imbarazzata per farlo. Le cameriere passavano tutto il tempo a spettegolare in cinese, ma non posso lamentarmi del servizio. Tuttavia 10 euro per un bicchiere di Prosecco è davvero una presa in giro. Dati i prezzi abbiamo limitato le nostre bevande all'acqua (€3) e una minuscola bottiglia di Coca-Cola (€4). Mia figlia ha ordinato un sushi sashimi misto. La quantità per il prezzo di 19€ non era soddisfacente e la qualità non era niente di speciale. Mia moglie ha ordinato un tempura di verdure (14€) e io ho ordinato un tempura misto (16€). Per me la quantità era scarsa e la qualità era al di sotto della media e c'era troppo sapore dell'olio di cottura.
