This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful outdoor seating area - you would never guess what awaits you given its modest, narrow storefront. I ate here once about five years ago and to be honest I didn’t think the food was quite as sharp, and service definitely wasn’t. Service wasn’t poor, but it wasn’t timely and appropriately attentive either. My wife and I had several excellent dishes (her melon gazpacho and my suckling pig) but other dishes were relatively uninspired. I found the senior people from the service amazing and really helpful and so welcoming I loved that. However, the younger people seemed a bit as they wanted to show us it is not place for us for some reason. Read morePortions were small for the price, service was inattentive and curt, my pasta came out cold (maybe because one of us was having pasta and the other person meat so the timing was off?), when I brought it to their attention they thought I was saying it was undercooked (it was cold, not hard, I have been in Italy a dozen times and love pasta al dente).
