Their 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐬 was an exquisite starter. It dazzles with pristine freshness and perfect cooking, silky texture offset delightfully by crispy sweet potato chips. The 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 balances al dente noodles and sweet scampi throughout a rich bisque. Also recommend another standout creation, which is their 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬 - the robust yet balanced flavors play together deftly, with the octopus paired with lime hummus, potatoes and yellow rice chips.
Primè's desserts also delight, but the tiramisu and caramel cake especially wowed. A hearty pour of espresso gave the 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐮 robust flavor. Meanwhile, the 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 satisfied with balancing layers of texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Last but not least, an Italian meal is not complete without 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚 and 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨. The 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 was also memorably good that served as the perfect dessert wine.

Read moreA few nights ago we were in this restaurant. We went there after reading the positive reviews... However, we really regret. The food was good. But we asked the waiter to change the table cloth. He rolled his eyes, while sighing, then left without saying a word. Him and his colleague came back with a new table cloth and asked us to sit at a different table so they could change the table cloth. We said that they could do it while we are sitting there, as we didn't want to move table for the sake of a table cloth change. Thus, it was only the wine glasses on the table, we were done with our main courses and just wanted a clean table, while enjoying our wine, to order dessert. The shocking thing was that when we refused to move, he just left and said he could not do anything !!! I mean it should have been unsaid, that the waiter should make sure that the customers are happy and comfortable, while he could just have cleaned the crumbs from the table, there would be no need for all the fuss they made. I could not stand this attitude that they gave us. We did not order dessert and I stopped by the bar and asked for the manager of the restaurant to explain the situation. To find out the waiter that brought the new table cloth was the manager!!! (I would not give him a job even as a waiter...) This was the part that really pissed me off. He was so arrogant and did not even want to listen to me. I told him there was no need for all the fuss they made and that many good restaurants with reasonably high prices make sure the table is clean ... he just kept on answering me back in a rude way, kept on saying you asked this. You said that. I was surprised by this tone and way of handling customer service. Even though the food is good, I will never return to this restaurant due to the poor hospitality and...
Read moreThis is a lovely restaurant in Milan a few minutes walk from Piazza Gae Aulenti where all the modern buildings are - worth a visit before lunch or dinner.
I chose to sit outside in the covered section which has open sides when the weather is good so very nice on a hot evening. Lots of little string lights made a nice atmosphere and there are only about 7 tables so doesn't feel crowded. The staff were very attentive and appeared at the right moment throughout which often doesn't happen when you sit outside.
The menu is very well constructed and it was hard to decide what to have. There is more emphasis on fish here so not a lot of choice for meat lovers. I chose the trio of raw tuna, salmon and sea bass served with lemon oil which was quite delicious and perfectly sized, followed by seared red tuna with carrots served two ways. This was a surprise as the carrots were cold but worked really well - 4 small 'trees' of curled blanched carrots filled with a carrot puree with branches of dill at the top. Not only looked lovely but tasted delicious. I started with a very good cold glass of Vermentino and then an excellent Chardonnay with the tuna.
The restaurant itself is very strikingly decorated and again the tables are well spaced out so a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner and I felt I had an extremely good meal which was reasonably priced (€70) for the quality...
