Sciué Solari — Restaurant in Milan

This was a horrible experience, do not recommend at all. Customer service is horrible, food looks good but was undercooked! Me and my two friends went in without reservation to see if anything is available - they said they have 1h free table and asked if we are okay with that - which we said is OK. After that we were seated outside - given small paper with QR code without any explanation - after they passed us again we asked if we can have menu - they pointed at QR and only then said we have to get menu out of that. QR code menu was in Italian and we had to change language option - manager got very inpatient with us that we take so long to figure it out, he just stood next to outmr table with paper and pen waiting while we struggle with menu. He even said - "you one have 1h", basically told us to hurry up, so we didn't even bet a chance to look through menu - which was poorly made in first place. After that he took our orders and ran off. We ordered 2 pizzas and pasta. Pizzas came first so my friends could dig in while I still had to wait for pasta. Food was undercooked - pizza dough was not cooked through out and felt doughy and pasta was not cooked properly, as it was still very much hard. They tried to rush our dishes and u could really feel in atmosphere that we were rushed. While we were eating once we finished meal one by one they were straight on our table to take plates away. Service charge for this restsurant is 2.50 euro, which is not shown anywhere - not even on their QR menu. Manager looked very stressed and was pushing his staff, it really ruined atmosphere. Visited Milan a couple weeks ago. We wanted to experience as much as we could during the weekend. So on the first evening we were looking for Italian cuisine and luckily were called in by a lovely man, who we later found out was called Giovanni. Since the minute we were seated by him, we were looked after so well. Despite the place was quite busy, Giovanni managed to make everyone feel so special. He assisted, advised, served us and was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very good, tasty and fresh, we enjoyed it so much that next evening we were not bothered to look for another place and went to Sciue again. Unfortunately, this time we were seated inside and even food were good again the whole experience was very far from the day before. I hope the manager knows that tasty food is not the only thing why people come back. Ci andavo saltuariamente fino a una 15ina di anni fa poi ho interrotto la frequentazione per un cambio di gestione mal riuscito, e di recente ho deciso di riprovare visto che ulteriori gestioni sembravano essersi susseguite nel corso del tempo. Risultato: bocciato anche questa volta. Non riesco a dargli più di due stelle e direi che si salva realmente solo il bagno che è risultato abbastanza pulito e in ordine, con sapone, salviette e carta igienica al posto giusto. La sala da pranzo è sufficientemente grande con tavoli ben distanziati ma molto piccoli, per cui non si sa dove appoggiare la roba (borsa, ombrello giaccone ed eventuali sacchetti). Dopo di che la birra ordinata mi è arrivata con il bicchiere completamente bagnato all'esterno, il che significa che è fuoriuscita senza che riuscissero a bloccarla e non hanno voluto rimpiazzare il bicchiere. La pizza era molle con un cornicione alto (quando a me la pizza piace bassa e croccante, ma qui si va a gusti), per cui ho dovuto scartare tutti i bordi temendo che mi rimanessero sullo stomaco. Il condimento della pizza direi che era abbondante ma alquanto pesante visto che alla fine mi è venuta una leggera nausea. Le persone che hanno ordinato le cotolette di fianco a noi hanno ricevuto delle cotolette troppo cotte, persino sbruciacchiate sui bordi. Dimenticavo di parlare dei piatti puliti che si trovano già sui tavoli quando si arriva al ristorante. Tutti rovinati da macchie nere in quanto ceramica e pittura sono di cattiva qualità. Non una bella presentazione. La persona che pranzava con me ha definito il ristorante "di taglio popolare"...mi sembra una definizione calzante. Personale abbastanza educato, prezzi nella media. Ma si può senz'altro trovare di meglio...non fatevi abbindolare. Ps. solo dopo essere usciti ci siamo accorti che lo scontrino non era fiscale...bella furbata...a me mi rivedono tra...
