Ristorante Pizzeria Il Moro 2 — Restaurant in Milan

Came here because of the bad review about how old and outdated it was. We like the traditional kind of places.

But yeah let just start with that 1star that they got, thats for the food, it was really nice. But you really need to do something about the service.

Again I understand that english is hard, so is Italy. So I had hope for some patience when we try to order with just 1 menu. I havent got through the starter and the waiter come by, lets order something to drink and some starter, I though. I try ordering a fruit drink, but he didnt understand english so I had to point it on the italian menu, and that fine. My partner order a big bottle of water, (still or sperkeling) it start to feel like something is going to go wrong.

Then I order the starter, thinking that we should start with that and take our time with looking for the main course. Since my partner havent look at the menu, since I wasnt finish with it.

My partner said to the waiter thay she have to take a look first for what she want to order, and then he went away. Us, sitting there wondering what will happend next. First we got our drink, no fruitjuice for me, thinking it might come later. (It never did)The waitet came by again, I order my maincourse and then I handed the menu to my partner so she can point at what she wanted. But before she can open the menu he walk away. And yeah, we were like "what just happend). We try to get there atention, but after some time, we dicide to order at the counter for my partner.

Then came the food, first my main, then after awhile, my starter, and then came my partner her spagetti, not black, as she wanted it. The whole vacation she was talking about it. And this my our last night in Milan, we can here for that....

What should have been a great night out with a great dinner...turn out to be soo disappointing.

It doesnt sound that awfull, when reading this, but that night, at that moment I was so disappointed, it even...

The food, atmosphere, staff, and prices were so incredible that we ate here twice on our five-day Milan vacation.

The food here is incredible! The portions are large and the prices are the best in town. For instance, we ordered a liter of wine, a liter of sparkling water, shrimp cocktail, a calzone, shrimp scampi, two margarita pizzas, and a dessert. The entire bill was €66! You can’t find that anywhere else in Milan. Best yet, all of it was amazingly scrumptious!

The staff is very friendly and kind. Although they don’t speak English, they do offer an English menu and you can get by with a mix of Italian and English; if all else fails, pointing also works.

The place has a lot of seating inside and out. Also, they are very family friendly (they have high chairs). Both times we went the place was filled with families.

This cozy spot feels just like home, thanks to the warm and gracious owners and waitstaff. The food is absolutely outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients. We tried the pizza, risotto with seafood among other dishes and everything was delicious.
