An Exceptional Dining Experience Right by the Duomo

I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday, and I must say, the customer service was truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently kind and smiling. Their warm and professional attitude really made us feel welcome.

The quality of service was impressively high from start to finish. We started with the house appetizer featuring a selection of cured meats, salami, mortadella, and prosciutto. Each item was absolutely delicious and of top-notch quality, you could really taste the difference.

For the main course, we had a breaded cutlet topped with prosciutto and cheese, which was equally excellent. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. We also enjoyed a white wine that was of very high quality and paired perfectly with our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the quality of the food and service but also for its unbeatable location, directly in front of the Duomo. You can choose to dine either outside or inside. While we initially thought sitting outside would be better, we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and charming interior. It was clean, comfortable, and full of character. Overall, a truly memorable experience. Highly...

People in this restaurant are only interested in your money and they manage to show this in a very bad way. I mean, ok, I understand that you are in a touristic area, I am coming from a touristic area as well, but I have never seen a behavior so much “money oriented” in a restaurant. It is a shame, because the restaurant itself is very nice. I couldn’t believe my ears, when one of the female waitress (the blonde one) pretended she couldn’t understand English the moment I confronted her about the mistake she made, while she was speaking perfect English when she was taking our order. Not that the colored female waitress was any better, very rude, I had to apologize in order not to get in fight with her, after a small joke that I made about the tables(not a racist one). Extremely cheap behavior for a restaurant like this. I had dinners in restaurants from South America to Asia, this the first restaurant that they made me feel like a “walking euro”. My advice to the manager, change your personnel or get them some “customer orientation” training....

I would do 0 if I was allowed. The most horrendous service we have ever received in any Italian location. We truly enjoy recommending locations to friends and family as they travel, but this restaurant was extremely rude and unprofessional! Our large party sat down for drinks and looked through the menu, we only chose this restaurant for a dish recommended by staff, which we were informed they were out of the meat. They offered the dish plain but for the same price. We said no thank you and explained we will enjoy our drinks to go elsewhere, we all ordered drinks and a bottle of wine for the table. The staff began to insult and make fun of us in Italian which some of our party can speak. They then would not bring us our bill until we began counting the prices to just leave cash and go. They then stated “never come back” when we left. Highly do not recommend. They then added an additional $15 fee for sitting at our table which we were surprised by and have never...

I guess I had higher expectations. It’s more a tourist place than an actual Italian restaurant. Food was fine, I tasted three types of pasta. I would say average. Nothing really wowed me. Portions incomparable with south of Italy. Also we an inconvenience. My foreign friends ordered a bottle of wine, and since there is a promotion, they should’ve got a free aperitivo with it. But the waiter didn’t say anything and brought only the bottle for them. Luckily I’m Italian and I could read about this promotion on some paper which was on the table. Written only in Italian… i hope they didn’t do that on purpose… but anyway when I make the waiter realize that, he didn’t even say sorry. Overall, a good experience if you’re looking for something in the pure city center and you don’t have a lot of time to look around. But I will always suggest to go to smaller and private places. Maybe managed from families. There you can really feel to be in Italy.
