Slice Milano — Restaurant in Milan

Didn't even get to try any food as had a disrespectful waiter and when we just asked if we could move our seat slightly away from the other couple so we could all have our own space. He refused. I then requested if we could ask the manager in a courteous manner but the waiter simply proceeded to say no I'm the boss and denied our request even though he previously stated that his boss was the one we would have to ask. After refusing to even consider our request, he decided to kick us out. After this when we were leaving, the waiter decided to step out in his hoodie (presumably in a threatening manner). As I was with 2 women at that time, they were both extremely scared and were severely traumatised by the events of the what occurred. There are big mysteries in life. Like if there’s life after death. Another mystery is how this place has a 4.8 ranking…. I went there just because of the 4.8 stars and found a very disappointing pizza and a very bad aperitivo. The coffee was ok. The serving sizes are huge, even though they say it’s only a slice (which explains the high price). The crust is very thick and unremarkable. Tomato sauce was ok and the cheese disappointing. I got the margarita. Maybe those who liked this place got more toppings that made a huge difference. We had lunch at Slice Milano and the high Google rating is absolutely well-deserved. The pizza was a solid 5+ — delicious, fresh, and crispy. The ham was juicy, and the cheeses were melty, soft, and fresh. The toppings were excellent, with great additions like pistachio crumble and arugula.

We tried the OhCheesus with extra arugula and pistachio crumble, and then the Superstar mixed with a Mortazza slice. My wife had the veggie slice, while I went for an XL meat slice split into two types. I’m glad I didn’t order more — I barely managed to finish it, but there was no way I was leaving anything on that plate!
