Pizzeria Starita Milano — Restaurant in Milan

It's useless to book a table in this place. We've booked a table for 4 people at 22h and got there 5 minutes before, we've informed the waiter of our arrival and have been told to wait a couple of minutes because our table was not yet ready. At 22h30 we were still waiting outside in the cold (one of us went inside a couple of times to ask about the table and the answer was always the same - "table is not yet ready for you"). We were so frustrated and freezing cold that we finally decided to leave and instead of getting an apology from the restaurant, we got a sarcastic "bye bye" from the waiter, not even caring about the fact that we've been waiting all that long and knowing that they lost 4 clients at least. What kind of customer service is this? Another thing worth to mention is the fact that the restaurant was super crowded and the waiter was not respecting the rules of social distancing and was talking to people from very close by with the mask hanging on his chin....

Never had such a terrible experience with pizza in Italy! 4 of us ordered 4 different pizzas. They all came with a dough that was not good at all. The toppings are extremely poor. And the worst of all are the uneducated staff, they just came to the table throwing the food or drinks. The only good experience was talking to the owner that was highly educated and spoke in an excellent manner. Then one of the head waiters came to us saying that we don’t know what a Napolitan pizza was like in an arrogant way in front of the owner. Then the owner offered us free shots after paying for the full bill and throwing away 3 complete pizzas from the 4 we ordered! We were able to eat a margarita that was the least worst of all. Ci ho pensato molto prima di lasciare questa recensione, perché non amo mai lasciare recensioni negative, ma l’esperienza è stata veramente troppo pesante per non sconsigliarla al prossimo. Iniziamo dal fatto che le distanze di sicurezza non sono affatto rispettate, dopo aver prenotato ci è stato dato un tavolo decisamente troppo piccolo per il numero di persone che eravamo, tanto che abbiamo dovuto mangiare letteralmente ammassati… (con la scusa che i tavoli attorno erano prenotati, anche se poi sono rimasti fuori per tutta la sera!). Ordiniamo le pizze, arrivano e da subito la spiacevole sorpresa: pizze immerse nell olio, eccessivamente unte (specialmente quelle con il pistacchio ed i friarielli), per mangiarle abbiamo dovuto prima sgocciolarle (letteralmente). A questo punto, la follia: buona parte del tavolo, eccetto due persone in disparte, esce un attimo a prendere aria: a questo punto, senza chiedere nulla a nessuno, le cameriere portano via di tutta velocità le pizze in tavola che erano TUTTE A PIÙ DI METÀ. Chiediamo spiegazioni e i camerieri si incolpano l’uno con l’altro senza nemmeno chiedere scusa. Oltre al danno però, arriva anche la beffa: due amici, vedendo l’andazzo, pagano e vanno via prima. Al momento del conto, con estrema disonestà, ci viene rimesso in conto anche quando da loro già pagato, salvo poi, dopo inizialmente aver negato, essere giustamente tolto. Paghiamo quindi alla romana il restante (circa 30€ a testa per MEZZA pizza, una bevanda e non un paio di antipasti messi in centro tavola) e, una volta pagato ci viene comunicato che mancano 50€. Non capiamo come sia possibile dato che hanno fatto loro il conto dividendolo per i commensali, e dato che il conto pare già parecchio alto in rapporto a quanto consumato… cercare di capire i le motivazioni diventa impossibile, scontrini a casaccio con piatti extra… dialogo impossibile con il personale alla cassa… paghiamo e andiamo via.
