I visited with a group of friends with the fork 50% discount offer. Food: I appreciate the enormous and very detailed menu. I also appreciate the extra large portion sizes. I ordered the Pizza a'mamma which came with dollops of ricotta on top as if it was a cake with decorative frosting. The massive dollops of ricotta ruined the pizza for me, the meatballs on the pizza did not taste fresh. The other pizzas were great. The pasta alla sorrentina was a bit bland. The serving portions of the bruschetta for the price was disappointingly small. We were also charged for the bread (which the staff member called a focaccia, it was a pizza base) that we did not order but was brought to us after we were sat down but before we could even look at the menu.
Service: One staff member was very welcoming, polite and accommodating to our request. Another staff member appeared blunt, kept coming back very often to take our plates away (there was no rush in the restaurant) and did not communicate before taking the plates away. We were charged for the bread (which the staff member called a focaccia, it was a pizza base) that we did not order but was brought to us after we were sat down but before we could even look at the menu.
The cutlery was bad. Absolutely unusable and frustrating.
While receiving the bill, the 50% discount was not applied on the last item in the list. It is most likely a human error and they apologised for the mistake and applied it later but it is the sort of thing that goes unnoticed if you don't pay close attention to your bill. So I do not appreciate that particular experience.
Atmosphere: Great location, good ambience.
Overall opinion: Maybe worth it if you get a...
Read moreThe worst place I’ve ever was! From the very beginning ever was bad. When we came and sit at the table it was smelling as dirty socks are. I had no wish to eat something and ordered just a glass of beer because I didn’t want to leave with nothing ordered. But the waiter demonstrated that he is offended and removed all glasses and cutlery and napkins. He brought me sour and muddy beer, smelling bad and tasting bad. I’ve asked to replace with a fresh one! He brought in a while. When I’ve asked the bill there was a strange point like payment for the serving which was twice expensive than the beer. But nobody worried me about this additional payment! It’s disgusting behavior of the personal and the owner should pay more attention to the qualification of...
Read moreSome bad reviews on here, but we went as a family 4 and had a nice time. The restaurant looks good and the food was nice (pizza, spaghetti, bruschetta, fries for kids). The Only thing I wasn't so keen on was that the menu's have to be accessed on your phone which took a while to sort out, but there is free wi-fi in the restaurant so no drama and there is a charge of €2.50 per person (including kids) "for the table".... apparently that is normal in Italy (don't know). If this is basically service charge by another name, then again fine as in the UK its rare that a decent restaurant doesn't add that automatically these days. Other people refer to a smell.. didn't notice any problem with any...
