Is Starbucks currently training its employees to practice racial discrimination?
Not all staff members at this store behave this way, but a few clearly show discriminatory attitudes. This is not based on just one or two visits — it has happened repeatedly.
The female staff member wearing glasses was very dismissive from the moment she took my order and even threw my receipt at me. At first, I thought she might simply be having a bad day, but when I saw her warmly greeting the next customer with a cheerful “Buongiorno,” I felt deeply uncomfortable.
In addition, I ordered a basic menu item, yet the customers behind me received their drinks first. A male staff member noticed that my drink hadn’t been served but continued doing his own things for quite a while before finally preparing it.
I ask the store manager to respond to this comment and clearly explain what actions will be taken. If I do not receive a reply within the next few days, I will file a detailed official complaint with Starbucks...
Read moreI went here last sunday for breakfast. There were 2 girls who were working. I stood at the counter and greeted them but they did not respond. The cashier JUST STOOD THERE looking at her PHONE for a good minute so i greeted again. She looked so annoyed and put down her phone and got my order. I, too, work at a coffee shop in Milan. We’re not allowed to keep using phones when clients enter, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY IN FRONT OF YOU. And we are always taught to keep good attitude with clients. It was 9 in the morning and they were serving only 1 person at the counter. So...

It may seem like a coffee paradox, but when you want a big portion of coffee, it's not easy to resist the allure of a gigantic (Venti, which means in twenty in Italian) cup of java – the largest you can find in Italy, to be precise!
It's as if the spirit of the Italian cafe has been infused into the very core of this American-born establishment.
So, the next time you find yourself in the area, craving a large cup of coffee served with a genuine smile, Starbucks might just be the place to...
