We visited Milan for the first time, and I wanted to surprise my girlfriend by taking her to a really excellent dinner. She had been sick and hadn’t left the house for a long time.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a kind hostess who opened the door for us and took care of our coats. All the bartenders were friendly and welcomed us with a loud, cheerful “Good evening.” A moment later, one of the hostesses led us to our table. The restaurant’s decor made a huge impression on us. It’s worth mentioning that right next to our table was a large window, giving us a view of the chefs and the bustling kitchen.
After we sat down, we were quickly visited by the sommelier, a very polite and knowledgeable young man, who also shared some interesting stories about the city. We chose cocktails that were clearly made with passion. These were the Fashion Star Martini and Provençal Boulevardier, both so beautifully presented that we almost didn’t want to drink them. While we were perusing the very clear and extensive menu, we were served some freshly baked bread. It seemed to be made on-site, with a wonderfully fresh and crunchy crust, and paired perfectly with regional olive oil—an excellent start.
We decided to start with the classic Burrata with tomatoes and Beef Tartare. Both dishes were made with evident passion, and their presentation was top-notch. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the waiter, but he was very polite, helpful, and attentive. The staff bringing the dishes to the table were very positive, smiling, and you could feel their energy, which is rare in Italy.
The Burrata was light and creamy, just as it should be. The Beef Tartare, with a touch of croutons, was perfectly balanced, and the capers added a wonderful flavor. The sommelier suggested a white wine for the main course. If you’re in Italy, you must try Pinot Grigio. It’s an excellent white wine that enhances the flavor of seafood dishes and cleanses the palate perfectly.
The main course only confirmed the exceptional culinary skill we were dealing with. Once again, the presentation of the food made us feel like royalty. My girlfriend ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina, which melted in her mouth. It was definitely the best she has ever had. I opted for Grilled Tiger Prawns, and they were spot on. Perfectly cooked, firm yet tender, and juicy—“Chapeau” to the chefs. It’s clear they’re not amateurs here. When at Tuya Milano, be sure to try the French Fries with truffle mayonnaise—it’s out of this world in flavor.
After the meal, which was a wonderful surprise, one of the chefs came over to ensure everything met our expectations. Since it was our anniversary, we were treated to desserts, which was a very kind gesture from the staff. After a round of tequila, we headed for the exit. The restaurant started filling up after 8 PM.

Read moreI didn’t like that they wouldn’t let me bring in my bday cake on my bday bc in their words they can’t let me serve me bc they don’t know the ingredients. Ummmm ya not eating it I am. Then the risotto was crunchy as hell they took it back and took 20 mins to return a new one to us and then I asked for my steak well done and it came medium rare and I just took it home to cook it the way I wanted it done. I wouldn’t go to this place ever again. For the amount that they charge the least they can do is bring your food how you request it. Gordon Ramsey would never. The best part of this place was the ambience , the vegetables and the drinks. Def a 1 star restaurant. Being new to Italy I def would suggest doing your due diligence and making sure you know for a fact this place is for you but for Americans I don’t think you would care for this place too much. My wife did a good job trying to make me happy and she did the restaurant...
