Very rude staff who don’t care and if you have a newborn they will try to make you as miserable as they are.
We had booked a table and when we showed up the guy at the door started to get aggressive, because our baby was sleeping in the pushchair. He didn’t welcome us in even though we had booked and after I told him I can’t remove the baby because she’s sleeping he wanted to give us a table in front of the toilets . (By the way the place was not full at all only a handful of people were there and they do have another floor..). The same guy did the same thing before when we there with a newborn, our first visit was in the middle of a hot summer, we asked him to sit inside because it was boiling outside and the place was empty, yet he kept making up bad excuses/lies that are not even clever and that wouldn’t even fly on a third rate bazar. I guess they are so greedy (because a newborn is not going to eat anything) , they will try to stress you and make up ridiculous excuses why your reserved table is not really reserved anymore.
To sum up: the first time was clearly not an aberration, if you are a family with small kids do not go there because they hate kids and they are extremely rude and...
Read moreExcellent Greek cuisine in the heart of Milan We tried this delicious Greek restaurant just a few steps from the Duomo. The restaurant is spacious and on two floors. The mise en place is very simple, the service is very courteous and attentive and recommended us the best, even if we waited half an hour, but it was worth it! The dishes we have chosen are tasty and the raw materials are of a good quality. We drank Greek mineral water and Retzina Papagiannakos white wine ... fantastic! As an appetizer we chose Saganaki cheese and we could not resist the Haloumi cheese of Cyprus ... to continue with chicken and pork Suvlaki. Finally we allowed ourselves chickpea balls. Then coffee and of course Ouzo, the aniseed liqueur. Reasonable expenditure: € 83 uro. If you want to immerse yourself in an elegant yet informal and decidedly tasty Greek atmosphere you...
Read moreHidden away from the duomo, this is a great place to stop for lunch if you are close by. Food is fresh and plenty full in portion. Priced considerably well for the location. Good vegetarian choices, sharing plates is best. They managed to squeeze us in once they saw a regular face, advanced booking recommended. Prosecco was average, so I wouldn't order a bottle again, we also had to top ourselves up after the first pour, even though the waiters were walking past noticing. The bathroom lacked paper towels and smelt awful in the cubical. The paying area constantly has a que, so leave time for this if you have to...
