I have been here for a dinner with friends and I must say that the decor and the furniture chosen for this place make it unique and convey a strong Parisian style. It looks like being in France while eating in this place and the big mirror in the back of the room highlights this feeling, taking memory to Renoir’s paintings. The food is a mixture of Italian and French classics, and I must say that the quality is very good. I had a chateaubriand and some appetizers, I have been really satisfied of. However, the service is not as mature and chic as the place. The waiters often forget basics like serving wine, water, replacing the bread or who ordered what. For the price, one expects to be treated. Moreover, although very beautiful and in line with the style of the place, the seats are not very comfortable, making it difficult to enjoy long conversations. Came here for the first time and we already want to come back! The service is top, live music is beautiful, interior is cool. We took a bottle if white wine and escargot to share, then troccoli cacio pepe (were good), caramelle piacentine (were good as well) and tagliata di manzo al rosmarino (was a bit dry, lacked juiciness). We also shared a semifreddo and took limoncello, violetta and mirto. They also gave us a bowl of tiny merengue fatti a casa. La nostra cena si è rivelata una delusione sotto diversi aspetti!

Cottura: La carne e le patate sono state servite completamente crude. Dopo aver chiesto di cuocerle, la carne è stata rimessa sulla piastra risultando dura e priva di sapore.

Qualità generale: Nonostante avessi ordinato il taglio di carne più pregiato disponibile, una chateaubriand, ho trovato molti nervetti, cosa inaccettabile per una carne così ricercata. Il maialino di latte, invece, era una mescolanza di grasso e carne, servito in modo poco appetibile con la testa intera nel piatto.

Servizio: Abbiamo pagato 5€ a testa di servizio per un solo cameriere che era chiaramente sopraffatto dal numero di tavoli. È stato necessario richiamare più volte l'attenzione con anche errori come il mancato servizio di un piatto (le patate, per di più crude) ed il non averci permesso di assaggiare il vino prima di servirlo.

Quantità: Le porzioni erano decisamente ridotte rispetto alle aspettative, sia in termini assoluti che rispetto al prezzo. È stato particolarmente fastidioso notare come le quantità fossero notevolmente inferiori rispetto a quanto pubblicizzato nelle foto online...

In conclusione, ogni locale può avere una serata negativa, ma la scarsa attenzione al cliente, gli errori di cucina così evidenti e banali, uniti ad una qualità del cibo non corrispondente alle aspettative, rivelano un atteggiamento poco professionale e deludente...
