My partner and I have been to many Japanese restaurants, and the Izakaya entrance and look of the place attracted us as it looksd like an authentic Japanese restaurant... And it does, only though of the lowest quality and service level: we tried the sushi and it was served old (the tuna did not look fresh, and the texture of the sashimi was thick and rubbery in the mouth, probably because it was not properly cut and served a few hours after having been prepared), we also tried the octopus meatballs, which in fair were ok, although lacking in octopus content... Finally we ordered the gyoza, which never arrived. Service was really sub-standard, as no one seemed to be in charge of our orders (even after we asked to pay as by then we had waited 30 minutes for the gyozas).
