Bistrot 52 — Restaurant in Minori

We ate the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Not just in our Italy trip. In our lifetime. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a rainy day. Most restaurants were closed so we decided to grab something to eat in our car. To be honest we lowered our expectations in Amalfi region. The food quality is not so good. Then we came here. I don’t know how to write this review without sounding fake. The sandwiches were so delicious, I thought about eating second ones:) the bread was warm and extremely fresh. Our party of four loved the people & the service at Bistro 52. We visited Minori for a few day's at the end March & had the pleasure to stumble on this place looking for somewhere to pick-up some eats & drinks we could take with us as we had arrived after the groceries were closed. The folks there were so pleasant, helpful & greeted us in true genuine Italian style. Amazing variety truly delicios food. What a pleasant and surprising find in Minori! Unfortunately the torrential downpour that hit during our time in Minori meant there are few options open for just about anything.

We were desperate for a place to sit and enjoy a coffee and decided after perusing the menu to get lunch too. So glad we did! The sandwiches were outstanding. The bread to filling ratio was perfect, the fillings were flavorful and delicious and the bread was that very difficult to achieve balance of soft and crunchy.
