I was excited after reading the great reviews, so we stopped by for dinner. We were seated immediately (2 adults and 3 kids). The kids ate at the holiday market in the park, so I promised them dessert to keep them occupied while we ate. When I asked about dessert, the waitress said there was none. I said tiramisu, and she said no, even though I saw takeaway servings in the cooler at the front and saw reviews with fried dough on multiple reviews. With some grumpy kids, we got 2 pizzas. One was great (veggie) and one was so soggy the middle parts of each slice fell off. It was a buffalo margarita, and I’m not sure why the crust was so different from the other. I’d give the one pizza a 5* rating and the soggy one a 3*. But what left me bothered was a 2 Euro op seating fee that was not posted or mentioned. Since we had 2 adults and 3 kids, it was 10 euros unexpected- for 2 pizzas and “no dessert for you”. I trust that others had a better experience but the table fee was certainly over the top. I’d probably try again...

Whilst waiting patiently for our food, I enquired if one of the pizza’s were ours as a staff member yelled out the orders. My polite & civil due diligence was not welcomed & we were further mocked about our ability to understand italian with a few locals in the crowd sniggering along discriminately.
We felt unwelcome, although they had been so eager for us to part with our money.
We walked for a mere 5 minutes post receiving our order & were greatly disappointed with the temperature deficit in our food. The cheese had already started to congeal from the sheer lack of heat.
On another note, the marinara sauce was severely lacking flavour; I’ve consumed higher quality authentic italian pizza at ‘The Coogee Pavilion’ in Sydney, Australia. Hopefully Rome can live up to the...
Read moreWe ordered one margherita pizza (€8) for four people as we were simply there for a snack, not a meal. The margherita was excellent! First of all, the pizza was huge for the price. The tomato sauce tasted so pure and fresh, we were very happy that the cooks were generous with it. My slice was slightly soggy, but not in a bad way; I enjoyed the chewiness of the dough. However, I would’ve liked some more cheese on it.
Service was extremely quick! The baba arrived one minute after we’d ordered, followed by the pizza 5 minutes later. The waitress and waiter were very friendly and shared with us the WiFi password.
The baba (€6) was excellent, very moist, but the flavour of rhum was barely noticeable.
Overall I would recommend! We were tempted to try another pizza, but we decided to save ourselves for other restaurants as we were visiting...
