This was my second visit, the first one being 3 years ago. I had great memories, but this time was bad. The entire menu was bland, the ragu cold and the dessert cake too sweet and overbaked/dry. It was the worst meal we had in 5 days of eating in Modena, small lunch time cafes served better quality food. I understand every kitchen can have a bad day, but a michelin star restaurant should not serve food without tasting it. Wait time between courses was up to 30min, leading to the food being completely out of sync with the wine pairing. Other than that, service was mostly ok, but also had some missteps (taking orders while carrying cleared plates from a different table). Not worth the money or the calories... won't go back next time...
Read moreGreat Michelin star restaurant tucked away in Modena. We came for dinner and tried the vegetarian course menu. All the flavours for all the dishes were perfect, they all went well and complemented the vegetables that went with them.
The use of vegetables was creative, all the dishes were well presented, couldn’t go wrong. At the end of all these courses you don’t realise you’re full. Full of lovely flavours and healthy vegetables.
Wonderful dinner and wine pairing option. The only negative point is that you don’t get to pair a different wine with every dish.
