Cafe Adamo — Restaurant in Modica

I am visiting my boyfriend’s hometown of Modica from London and of all the places he has taken me this is by far my favourite place that I hope that I will continue to come to. The people are kind, warm and friendly and the cremolate is the best food I have had so far in Sicily. Not only this, but I went to collect some coffee beans and an espresso cup and saucer as a gift for my family and friends and they were so helpful and kind and went above and beyond by going to a separate place to vacuum the coffee beans packet to keep them fresh on my return journey to London. We arrived in Modica early for our Airbnb check-in, so we needed a place to park ourselves (with our luggage) and have a snack and a rest. We came across this cafe randomly, not realizing we'd stumbled upon one of Modica's gems!

We had cappuccino plus a small cheesecake that came with a red icing, delicious pastry crust, and raspberry jam inside -- it was not only one of the most beautiful desserts, but also one of the most delicious.

You would think in such a touristy places Modica, and the fact that this establishment won an award for one of the best gelatos in the world, that the prices would be more expensive.
