Tucked away in a charming little alley that could easily be mistaken for a side street in Modica, this pizza restaurant is an absolute treasure. From the moment you step in, there’s an effortless magic in the air — the kind that comes from simple things done extraordinarily well. The prices are refreshingly reasonable, making it a place you can return to time and again without denting your wallet. The pizza? Easily some of the best I’ve had outside of southern Italy — crisp, wood-fired bases with perfectly balanced toppings that let the ingredients shine. The beers are cold and beautifully poured, making it all too easy to lose track of time as you soak in the laid-back atmosphere. The staff are faultless — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s the kind of service that feels like hospitality rather than routine. But it’s the setting that steals the show. Nestled down a narrow, sun-dappled alley, the whole place feels transported from another time. Sitting there, with the soft hum of conversation and the scent of fresh basil in the air, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were dining in the backstreets of Modica itself. An unforgettable experience — casual, authentic, and delicious. This place is a must for anyone who appreciates great pizza served with soul.

After 1 week raod trip through Sicily, we found this amazing Restaurant in Modica. It is a bit hidden in a small pedestrian area parallel to the main street. We tried mussels with garlic and tomato/white wine sauce as starter and afterwards the seafood Risotto and the grilled Calamari. Everything was really delicious with a very good quality. The atmosphere in the narrow alley and the warm lights combined with the friendly and helpful waiters made this a perfect evening for us. I forgot to mention that once you ordered an Aperitif, you'll get a small plate of local sausages, cheese and olives for free. This place is highly recommended and definitely the best Restaurant we've been to so far in Sicily!

3* for the food taste 7* for the quality of service In this place you will be surprised by the professional staff more than the food! It was a very nice surprise for me, most of all the waiter Daniel! I did not had the best salmon or the best pasta, but the experience overall was great! The back street tables are very romantic in combination with the old walls and the narrow street ! As minuses will mention that the shrimps should be cleaned of intestines, even if they are whole on the plate! Salmon had to little salt for my taste! On rush hour you need a little patience because they are fully booked, but no one is left outside!

We were 2 adults and 3 kids, we were kindly greeted from a kind lady, and a waiter offered us a sit inside where it was cool and reserved but we asked if there was still a spot outside the busy street and he said yes and he took us to a good spot, where most the other waiters passed by. We arrived around 20:30 and left at 21:20 because no waiters came by to take our orders and as we waited everyone who came after us was already being served… we let the waiter know who took us to our seats that we are ready to order yet no one came. And so we left and even though many waiters saw us standing up to go none of them made an attempt to stop us… is it because we had kids with us? No for there were many other family who come after us with kids. Is it because we were unfriendly? No we felt welcomed from the lady so that we really wanted to stay and eat there. Whatever the reason was it was quit saddening being seated for almost 1hr without being asked what we would like to eat or even just what we would like to drink! It made us really feel unwelcome as we gathered together and went to another pizzeria, maybe it was because we’re speaking German? Or because I am Asian? We would never find out… but surely I won’t recommend this place to anyone touring...

Vielleicht!
