Nuovo Premiato Caffé Venezia — Restaurant in Monopoli

One of the best restaurants I have been to in my life. Located in the pure heart of Monopolis old city. The waiter greets you and shows u the table to sit straight away, what is a big +, because customers service in Italy was not too good from my experience. We ate the plate of cheeses and meat, some steak and orechiette. The plate was very good, differentiated, with a high quality, fresh products. Steak in pistacchio sauce was very good, same with orechiette. The best part of the restaurant has to be their bar. Insane choice of cocktails, wines and gin. We had caipirinha - Brown sugar and limes muddled to perfection, looking good and fresh. Hurricane - good cocktail on rum, a lot of passion fruit. Daiquiri was a little bit too sweet, but okay. Monkey 47 gin + thomas henry classic tonic was served to perfection. Basil, lemon zest, beatiful collins glass filled with ice. Loved the experience. The only - in the whole restaurant was unknown 10€ on the bill - im sure thats not coperto, because coperto was added before and it was 5€ per person. I recommend the place to anyone that can pay price for good quality and to anyone that loves a good...

PLASTIC IN BURGER & BAD, BAD SERVICE

Bad service: the staff seemed completely uninterested in us; even when taking our order at the table, the waitress kept looking away and rolling her eyes; they did not seem happy to have us there. When I wanted to order a soda, I went inside and tried to look at the soda refrigerator; one employee almost actively blocked my path but otherwise ignored me, until I was finally allowed to order a soda. Several times, we were ignored when asking the staff questions.

To top it off, my burger bun was very dry. The meat was okay, but I found a piece of plastic in my burger. They knocked off the price of the burger, which is in my opinion the absolute minimal way to rectify the situation. I actually expected my soda to have been free as well, but no.

PESSIMO SERVIZIO, PERSONALE CAFONE E COCKTAIL SBAGLIATO: QUsta stessa sera mi sono recato con un gruppo di amici al Caffè Venezia sito nel centro storico di Monopoli. Talmente tanta è stata la delusione e la cafonaggine del servizio oltre che del titolare che ho scelto di precipitarmi a scrivere questa recensione in modo da poter SCONSIGLIARE vivamente a qualunque turista di visitarlo. Veniamo accolti da molti tavoli pieni, camerieri in due ed estremamente indiffarati. Ci fanno sbrigativamente sedere in un posto consistente in un tavolino basso con un divanetto da massimo due posti ed altre due sedie spacciandolo per posto per 6 persone. Prima grande carenza. Di seguito mi verrà sottratta una sedia che avevo recuperato per non rimanere in piedi vista la carenza di posti a sedere e nonostante il locale fosse quasi in chiusura . Il tempo per ordinare è stato molto lungo. Quando all’orizzonte è comparso finalmente un cameriere sono venuto a conoscenza che tutta la Caffetteria e la Ristorazione non erano più fornite di alcunché nonostante riportassero ancora menù dei tali sui tavoli in modo fuorviante. Di Sabato Sera, in pieno di monopoli. Così solo in tre hanno scelto di ordinare cercando a tentoni qualcosa nel servizio cocktail nonostante non soddisfacesse le nostre esigenze di clienti . In ultima istanza arriva il danno: Viene consegnato un Cocktail che richiedeva la presenza di Gin, Lime, REDBULL, ed infine Bulldog. Il risultato? Un semplice Gin e Lime, REDBULL non era presente e la “mistica “ bevanda Bulldog neanche, nonostante il titolare poco dopo abbia insistito sulla sua esistenza e sul fatto che fosse insapore. Questo però non sapendo che io per anni ho frequentato svariati lounge bar di cui alcuni di famiglia e ho la consapevolezza di quali ingredienti contenga un cocktail. Infine andiamo alla cassa e parlando con il titolare per fargli presente il disagio costui dimostra una cafonaggine estrema insistendo sul discorso che il cocktail nonostante fosse privo di più ingredienti, valesse ugualmente il prezzo da listino . Un bicchiere normale riempito di 4/5 cubetti di ghiaccio con succo di lime, una spruzzata di Gin e nient’altro alla modica cifra di 7€. Consiglio spassionato? Ci sono tanti e più bei locali da visitare, personale e titolari più corretti e competenti. Se dovete spendere bene, virate in luoghi più sicuri e...
