We chose Ristorante Il Coccorone for our weekly Umbrian lunch visit. We were very pleased with the experience and especially the food. The coperto is correct (3 Euro per person) with an assortment of breads that were very tasty. I had the Pappardelle al Sagrantino, which was very hearty. My wife had the Bistecca which was made to perfection. With the assortment of salts along with the pepper it was something even I could eat and want more of (I'm not one to eat beef). Contorno included patate brace and cicoria. The dessert was a crostata with figs that was arguably the best crostata I've ever had. It was made in house and just melted in your mouth. The half liter caraffe of wine was also appropriately priced (6 Euro) and was a very good red wine paired with both dishes.
