During my four day trip to Naples, I went to this this Caffe three times. My Italian friend found it and recommended to go. We had Lasagne and Salad, both were good.
What I actually liked about this place is the atmosphere and the staff. You can sit inside or outside, and actually you could work here. It is in a touristy area but still in an area where hundreds of people are not constantly passing by. And, I have found it hard to find cozy and nice places to work from during my two weeks trip in Italy in Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples. But this cafe is really good to work, to eat or just to have a cafe.
What I really liked about this place was that I went there and worked for hours and, for instance, ordered only a cafe and the staff did not give me any impression that I was not welcomed to stay long because I have ordered only a cafe. In Rome, I was in a cafe and the waiter after a while came to me and told me that he is afraid that he might have to ask me to leave if the place gets crowded.
In general, I personally found this place really cozy and nice and good to eat, and super nice...
Read morei think this was the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Napoli. The waiters were very rude and I think they were with het verkeerde been uit bed gestapt because they were taking soooo long and ignored us. When we finally got our way too expensive food, we were shocked by the carpaccio my friend ordered. This was the Vesuvius but then in a carpaccio (is this de bedoeling?). It was a plate full of ijsbergsla with a lot of oil (way too much of it) and dried meat. That was it. I think you can feed a whole village with the amount of salad that was on that plaid. Of course she did not finish this disgusting meal because it was only salad with oil. This costed her 10 freaking euro’s. This is oplichterij. We will send Kees from der Spek to you!!!!! Watch uit!! Also it wouldn’t surprise me if the (also way too expensive lasagnes) were just opwarmpakjes from the Lidl. That is...
Read moreIt’s a nice square but frankly just spare the fee for the chairs and do as the locals do and anywhere else but here, for example on steps, the curve or the foutain as for the food dished out here is the worst you will see in Naples. Tomatos had no taste, the sandwich is the worst type and screams out loud: colesterol. Ryanair serves better and more sophisticated food! The salad was literally iceberg with tuna straigt from the can. It’s food straight from the super market shelve... BYO on the curve is better than this!! Service is a joke, like they are angry you...
