What a terrible service. The manager / owner/ clown was making everyone feel very uncomfortable by his indecent humour and his 'over' tactile attitude towards women. My friend and I thought it might get better after ordering a glass of red wine for each of us but I was surprisingly amused to see the waitress finishing a bottle of wine in one glass topping it up with another wine and topping up the first glass with the new wine. The clown was the one bringing the glasses to our table however, he managed to put his hand in my glass (I am not sure how) and pour some liquid on the table cloth and my black pair of trousers (I was happy to have made that choice tonight). The glass of wine was replaced and we understood that to apologise he had said he'd offer the wine, which was an easy gesture. We and the clients had to listen to his poor jokes and bear his over-friendly attitude until my friend asked him to stop touching her shoulder and we then decided to ask for the bill. Like other people we did not leave any tips (the first time during our holidays but the service was seriously bad). We put our coats on and as he noticed we gave no tips, he started making a scene saying we owed him an extra glass of wine that for some reason he forgot to charge us as he was very busy (he would have been less busy, should he had stopped over talking and pestering customers). We genuinely had not noticed and when he flagged it we said we understood he had removed it from the bill to apologise for the inconvenience (I had to put a napkin on the table to hide the stains, they even did not do so). He made a scene in front of everyone as if we were thieves. We paid for the wine and were happy to leave the clown's premises. There are so many nice places around, so if you want a peaceful evening, no stain on your cloths and avoid a variety of wines in your glass, then avoid...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews, but I think this would help women avoid an uncomfortable situation by not coming here. The food was good, but as a woman I totally would not recommend this restaurant. The waiter made a bad impression in the first 2 minutes, because he said something in italian and, surprise, us tourists don't understand italian, so he made a misogynistic comment about how I didn't understand just because I was a woman and then he turned to my boyfriend and spoke only to him. When I didn't finish the pasta because it was a large plate he kept saying and insisting that I should eat, 3 times, and didn't stop until my boyfriend told him it's enough, he ignored me 3 times when I told him it's enough and only listened when my boyfriend told him so. I don't what to imagine his attitude towars women who came here alone or with another woman if that's was it when I came here with a man and would only listened to him. A very bad experience because of that misogynistic waiter, even if the...

The food was really lovely, and the price point was great. Couldn't fault it on these points.
However, the service was so poor. Totally inattentive. The staff more interested in talking to each other than covering the THREE tables in their station.
We ordered our meal and drinks. The starters arrived before any drinks. We reminded the staff about the drinks we wanted (glass of rose, bottle of red, water - nothing tricky). Eventually when they cleared our starter plates they poured our drinks. They opened the bottle of red, poured two tiny glasses then took the bottle away. It took us another 20 minutes to get the bottle back on the table. Really bizarre.
When the bill came, the waiters were quick to remind us that whilst there is a cover charge, tips are not included and we should pay these in cash to them. Fat chance. Cover charge was...
