Average food. You'd expect better service and cuisine given the Michelin star, but perhaps our expectations were too high. The highlight was the Eggplant Parmesan. Fair prices. The café was disappointing. The servers were surly, though that seems common in many restaurants here. It might be due to the language barrier, but given the restaurant's reputation and Michelin star, I expected more attentive and pleasant service.
Update:
Thank you for your response. There seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding your accolades; I initially thought you had a Michelin star, but I now understand you are featured in the Michelin Guide, which still sets high expectations. Regarding the service, it is important for any establishment, especially one recognized by the Michelin Guide, to take feedback constructively rather than defensively. My review was not a personal attack but an honest account of my experience. I dined with you for lunch, not dinner, and while I understand the challenges of working in a hot kitchen, this should not translate into poor service or a dismissive attitude towards guests. For instance, the bruschetta was so hard it caused scars on the roof of my mouth, a detail I initially refrained from including to be more constructive. Your response, unfortunately, comes across as defensive and unprofessional. Not every guest will have the same experience or taste, and that's okay. What’s not okay is dismissing their feedback without consideration. I hope you can reflect on this and use it as an opportunity to enhance your service and cuisine, rather than seeing it as a competition over who can write a...
Read moreI discovered this incredible restaurant thanks to a video by PPPiter, and I couldn't be more grateful.
The food here is exceptionally good. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in every plate they serve.
The staff deserves a special mention. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction. They are not only friendly and professional, but also take the time to offer excellent wine recommendations that perfectly complement the meal. It’s a level of service that makes you feel genuinely valued as a guest.
If I have one regret, it's that I got so caught up in a conversation that I completely forgot to leave a tip. It honestly bothers me, because the service was more than deserving of one. If I ever pass through the area again — and I hope I do — I will absolutely stop by, not just to enjoy another fantastic meal, but also to make up for that forgotten gesture.
This place is a true gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and visit. You won't be disappointed.

Read moreThis is by far the best restaurant in Naples. We came here on our last evening in the city and I'm so glad we saved the best for last. Their food is absolutely incredible, everything we tried was fantastic and I really wish we could have tried more from their menu but we were too full so I suppose there's always next time. The absolute best thing I had was the Ragu Arancino that was served as part of the Tris fritto della Locanda, if I could choose one thing to eat on repeat every single day it would probably be that. We also tried the Mozarella in carrozza, the Ziti alla genovese and the Rigatoni al ragu con ricotta and they were all perfectly cooked and so balanced. Their portion sizes for all of the dishes are very generous which is also amazing. They have a very extensive wine selection from lots of different Italian regions and very good dessert options. Aside from the food, the service was flawless, the staff here are so professional, warm and welcoming. Thank you guys for making our last night in Naples so memorable! I can't wait to come back...
