Our hotel recommended Crazy Pizza, and wow—either they’ve never eaten there, or they secretly hate us. Because this place? This place was crazy alright. Crazy underwhelming.
Let’s start with the name. You walk in expecting something wild—flaming dough, pizza acrobatics, maybe a guy singing “Volare” while spinning mozzarella like nunchucks. What you actually get? A sad, overpriced pizza that tastes like it lost a bet.
The crust was confused. The toppings were like, “We didn’t ask to be here.” And the whole vibe screamed, “We’re here for the tourists who don’t know better.” Which we were. Until now.
Honestly, in a city where literal street food can bring you to tears, there’s just no excuse for pizza this meh. Naples is the pizza capital of the universe—you have to actively work hard to mess it up. But somehow, Crazy Pizza pulled it off.
Final verdict: Not crazy. Not fun. Just disappointingly average. Trust your instincts, not your hotel concierge. Go somewhere that doesn’t need neon signs to convince...
Read moreThe food here is very expensive in comparison to other places in Naples. The quality does not match the high costs either. Pizzas were very average quality and were served lukewarm. The price for pizzas is around €25-35 with some costing as much as €60+. A tiramisu for dessert was €18 and €9 for a small bottle of beer. Restaurant was completely empty at 9pm on a Wednesday. The table cover charge was €5 per person which is the highest I’ve seen anywhere in Naples and definitely not worth the money when the cutlery and glasses arrived at the table water stained. Some reviews said they got a show with their order where the chef brings out sparklers and there is dance music and the chef throws a pizza dough. We didn’t experience any of that, there wasn’t even music playing while...
Read moreLast night I tried for the first time a new typical restaurant in the inner city and it was an amazing experience.
I was there with my friends and we were looking for a welcoming and not too elegant place to have our dinner so we were pretty surprised by it. The interior was colorful and cozy and the waiters were cheerful and helpful but the most wonderful thing was the food.
The menu was rich in choices and when we finally ate we were fully surrounded by an exceptional featured of flavours. Lastly, me and my friends found that the price was absolutely reasonable and not too expensive.
I really recommend crazy pizza and we will certainly come back for...
