I visited this restaurant for dinner and decided to order a pizza. I chose a Margherita di Bufala, which in the menu is described as having buffalo mozzarella. The waiter asked me whether I preferred the cheese shredded on the pizza or served as a whole ball. I clearly said I wanted it as a whole ball, not shredded.
I also pointed to the menu and ordered a Limoncello Spritz. However, I was surprised when I was served a plain Limoncello instead of the drink in a glass as described. I didn’t want to cause trouble, so I accepted it and drank what was served. Later, I ordered a coffee, but it took quite a long time to arrive. At that moment, we were the only guests in the restaurant, so there shouldn’t have been any reason for such a delay.
Overall, the pizza, tiramisu, and coffee were very good, but the service left a lot to be desired. When I asked for the bill, the waiter nodded but didn’t bring it for a long time. I reminded them again, but I still waited quite a while. After about 15 minutes, another waiter came and informed me that payment is done inside the restaurant. This was very frustrating, especially after waiting so long for coffee earlier.
To make matters worse, when I finally went to pay, I noticed the bill was incorrect. It turned out that the buffalo I was asked about earlier was charged as an extra (€7), even though the pizza was already described as Margherita di Bufala in the menu!!!!! So a pizza that was priced at 8 euros on the menu suddenly turned out to be 15 euros. The waiter who processed my payment tried to explain that no one in the restaurant really speaks English, which was disappointing – if that’s the case, it would be much better to say so from the start rather than pretend to understand.
The food itself was good, but the overall organization and service were extremely poor. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as the experience was too stressful despite the quality of...
Read moreI ordered a pizza mozzarella di buffalla. The waiter asked me if i wanted mozzarella on top and something in italian. I didn't understand what he meant so i just pointed at the picture on the menu and said i wanted this exact pizza. When they brought out the pizza, there was a mozzarella ball on top of the pizza. At first i thought that's just the pizza i ordered and cut it, but then got suspicious and asked them whether that's the normal pizza or something extra. He then said it's extra and only after i asked again he told me it's 7€ extra (normal pizza was gonna be 8€), so almost double the price. I told him that wasn't what i ordered, and that i do not want it, which then he proceeded to say i already cut it and it's my fault. I also talked with the manager, both of them were unfriendly and told us i should have complained earlier and that i will have to pay for it. I also noticed an older british lady sitting at the table right next to us, with the same pizza i ordered. She also had the mozzarella ok top. I asked her whether she ordered it that way and if they told her that it was gonna cost 7€ extra, and she was surprised about it too. Seems like a common scam/strategy with this restaurant to take advantage of foreigners and squeeze some extra money out of them. Don't go here, they do not...
Read moreAt first the staff seemed okay, we were attracted by the “pizza+bibita 7 euro” when we sat down there was no pizza+bibita for 7 euros.
We ordered a pizza and a lasagna, the pizza was ok, I wouldnt eat it again but the lasagna, in my opinion, wasn’t worth the 10 euros, i would’ve payed max 6-7 euros for it, our food wasn’t served together, instead, he got his food and I had to wait for at least another 15 minutes for mine and of course his started to get cold and had to start eating it, because “pizza and lasagna are different” that’s what they said when we asked. Meanwhile the table behind us (that came after us and 2 other tables) got their food.
Coperto 2 euros per person, for what? We were served a coca cola and a beer in plastic glasses and their attitude was off, when we went inside to pay, there was a smaller roach on the counter where they would serve the coffee, we had to wait at least 10 mins to pay because from 4 workers only one of them would be at the counter (when he felt like it) and the others would just look at us. On the receipt it doesn’t specify what you ordered, it just said “ristorante”.
Overall bad experience and i would not recommend it and i’m sure the other 2 tables that got up and left because their food wasnt served, would...
