We stayed here for one night after staying on the Amalfi coast, had an early morning flight out of Naples so did an over night. Was greeted on arrival by a very helpful friendly man. We asked him to book a taxi for the airport trip in the morning but he advised the taxi’s were on strike the next day, luckily he knew a man/driver who would do an early morning pickup at a more expensive charge so this was booked. Our room was very high up in the building, so if you don’t like stairs/lifts this is not the place for you! Reception was on the first floor and then the rooms weee on another level. There was various other business in the shared building but the accommodation was private and secure. There was a kitchen area, with water supplied and crockery. Room was basic and good enough for a one night stay. Everything was clean. Good size bathroom. Few issues with aircon but the reception guy gave us his phone number so was able to contact him to sort. Room had a fridge. Literally only slept here for the night as had an early start the next day and didn’t arrive until late. Was a 15 minute walk from centre of Naples. Whilst my friend took a taxi I took the bus to the airport as had a slightly later flight. 5 min easy walk to bus station from accommodation. ||Basic hotel and was fine for our requirements, and for the price we paid (about £60) was great. Would recommend for short...
Read moreThe check-in process was smooth and the man working the desk was incredibly nice and informative and the room itself was immaculate and beautiful with a great view from the balcony. Unfortunately, I will not be staying at this property again. My very first night I was jet lagged, and laying in bed when just before 9pm the door to my private room was opened. I was half asleep but noticed it was a man peeking in, and when I lifted my head he left, leaving my door wide open. As a solo female traveler, this was the absolute worst way to spend your first night in a foreign city. I messaged the front desk via whatsapp immediately and they assured me this was staff coming to clean...at 9pm at night for a room that had just been checked into hours earlier. My room was only cleaned/restocked twice during the duration of my stay, and always during the morning or afternoon when I was gone. I hardly slept the next 11 nights as I was worried someone would attempt to enter again. Check-out is supposed to be at 11am but the cleaning staff will start banging on your door at 10am to get you out. I would not recommend staying here as a solo female. The area itself was very nice and safe, but this experience was absolutely terrifying. Unfortunately I could not afford to book a...
Read moreThe good stuff: |The staff are very nice, warm and approachable. |Overall the place was clean and tidy. The furnishings are nice, modern, spacious and Scandinavian in design. Think Ikea. |There are many floors with breakfast via the elevator. The breakfast space is also nice and the breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, with coffee made to order. |Despite the the things that we did not like ( having booked two rooms - twin and double) It is very well located to various modes of transport and within walking distance to port, and many Naples sites. It is very good value for money for a short or long term stay. It's just the little things but for a couple of nights it was fine. ||The not so good stuff |The bathroom fittings are poorly put together. The shower floor appeared as unfinished. It was as if the room had just been put together. |Our room was made up but it looked like a child had made the bed, this was very weird. |It's on the corner of a major intersection so it is very noisy with the sounds of cars and those Italian ambulances can be heard all night. |The bedsheets/ towels were stained or dirty Im not sure either way they did not look clean. |The wifi had poor...
