I stopped at this place to have a drink. My partner ordered a beer and I got an Aperol Spritz. The Aperol tasted off, it had an aftertaste. I had one sip and told the waiter that I wasn't drinking it because it tasted off. He didn't offer to change it or asked if he could do something about it. He just said oh ok, no te piace? And I could see he informed the other waiter about it. But no-one came to ask me about it. My partner finished his beer and I asked for the check. The check shows the Aperol. I told the owner of the place that I will pay for the beer, but I won't for the Aperol as it tasted off and he could see the drink was full. And I also did informed the staff about it.
The owner of the place started yelling at us (talking above me and not letting me speak) saying that 'he has a restaurant, he doesn't give away stuff for free' and he will call the POLICE.
The police was right next to the shop, he yelled at them that I was trying to 'steal' from him. Of course the policemen were laughing because of how ridiculous the situation was.
At the end he said I will make you another drink but I won't give it for free. So not only he offered no customer service, he yelled and bullied a customer in front of others and called the police, also he was making me stay and consume something against my will. In the end I said just get me the bill, I want to leave and not spend another second here because the whole experience was terrible. It seemed that he heard me telling my partner 'this will be an interesting a google review'
Then he let me go and refused to charge me for the beer.
I've been working at hospitality for more than 12 years. This is how you get your business closed.
If you want to be bullied, yelled at and have warm beer and funny tasting Aperol this is the place to go. Replying to the owner's comment: Anyone can read all the bad reviews and how you lie (as you did here) and gaslight everyone who tells the truth about your service and how you scam people. So everyone is wrong but you ah? I hope you seek help because your behaviour is not normal and there is written proof of it in all the hundred of bad reviews here. Not only that, you poor thing are displaying your rudeness and lack of class; Trying to insult a customer instead of trying to improve, so you can have a prosperous business. I feel so bad for you, imagine putting all this energy in having a business when you hate people. Go read all the bad reviews and all your replies and you'll realise what kind of...
Read moreWorst experience of my entire life! We visited Naples in May 2025, and our hotel provided us with breakfast tickets every morning to use at this restaurant. Each of us had a croissant and a coffee. There was one waiter (I believe he was the manager or something similar) — tall, thin, white, and around 40 years old — who literally yelled at my mother! We ordered two vanilla croissants and two pistachio croissants. This man gave us four pistachio croissants. My mom politely told him that we had ordered two with vanilla and two with pistachio. He simply replied, "Four pistachio." My mom thought he hadn’t understood her and tried to explain again. That’s when the waiter started yelling that there were no vanilla croissants left and that this is all we were going to get. We were absolutely shocked! He should have come to inform us that they were out of vanilla croissants and shown us what other options were available (there were other kinds of croissants on display). Instead, he just made the decision for us and then yelled! After that, we waited another 30 minutes for the coffee. When I asked when we would receive our drinks, he just told me, "Calm down," in a passive-aggressive tone. I also overheard him saying something negative about me to the other waiters, because he looked at me with an angry expression while the others turned to look at me at the exact same time he was speaking. It was truly unbelievable. Even before this incident, a few days earlier, there had been another issue with a different waiter. He wouldn’t let us sit at a table because there were no clean dishes — even though there were people already sitting and there were plenty of clean dishes visible! The way they treated us during our entire stay… They completely lacked basic manners.
It was a horrible experience! P.S. I've just found a photo of the man who yelled...
Read moreNapoli was just meant to be a stop off on the train for us while travelling Italy. We had a three hour stop over and thought we would pop out of the station for lunch. We both ordered salads, one buffalo and one chicken as welp as two spritz. It is of no fault to the restuarant but we were accosted twice by beggers. Both trying to help themselves to our food. - this alone was off putting and frankly ruined the atmosphere (if you can even say there is one). When the salads came out, the waiters long flowy green sleeves dragged through my salad. The two salads were bland. My chicken had no seasoning etc and was barely there. The rest of the salad included lettuce, rocket and cherry tomatoes. It was very uninspired and the worst food we've had while in Italy.
The only different with the buffalo salad was it had a ball of buffalo cheese in it. We paid €40. Compared to the €48 I paid for two antipasto and two il secondo and a moscow mule in Sorrento the night before (Zi'ntonio Mare).
Naples is not a recomended place to visit in the first place, so do yourself a favour and eat in the station. If you do wonder out don't be ripped off...
