This place is a must to avoid. They have the temerity to charge an eye watering service charge of 14% yet they provide no service unless prompted/asked once or more. Upon arrival there was a half-hearted attempt at setting up a table for 4 people by a waiter who was actually talking to someone on his mobile phone. Crockery, glassware, wine lists and menus arrived in fits and starts. When querying local pasta terminology in the menu there was unsubtle pressure to order straight away. When ordering there was more unsubtle attempts at up-selling. Throughout the meal it was neccessary to ask for basic things like oil and vinegar for the mixed salad as well as a bucket for the white wine. Food was edible (no more) but it took considerable effort to get the bill. The first attempt produced the bill for another table (conveniently about 25% more). When the mistake was called out it was quickly agreed and the correct bill was produced. When finally confronted about the steep charge for NO service there was no attempt at making ammends, refunds or apologies. It is clear that the service charge is simply a ploy to keep the prices on their menu at the front artificially low hence boosting business. This marketing scam amounts to border-line fraud and taints the experience of visitors to Naples. As I said, please avoid this shonky business & take your...
Read moreExperience not satisfying, service not very professional and quite disrepectful, the server quite hitting on my fiance on front of me. We ordered a steak (i ordered steak with butter and cognac not even asking me they just gave me a steak with red wine) and the guy was giving me tip on etiquette that i need to smell the cork from the wine (even though i rejected to do it and not wanting to sniff the cork from the wine he forced me to do it; very uncomfortable, (even though been working in food and beverage for many years in 5 star and luxurious hotel, im quite familiar i must say) talking about etiquette didnt even give us a chance to taste the wine and he just poured it in our wine glass and the pouring tecnique was dripping all over the table.. some server were seem quite drank, and others we're smoking in front of the restaurant on which for non smoker clients is no good. Nobody was paying attention; we asked the bill from a server and nobody came until we asked them again, on the point where we about to pay the server was literally staring to my fiance on which it s very disrepectful from me, plus they just gave auto tip themselve for +8,75 (a 14% service). On which on my point of view doesnt deserve a tip. Never...
