With all it’s irony, we chose this place because of good ratings on both Google and TripAdvisor. And that makes me massively confised. This place is simply tragic, no soul. Pure tourist trap, with no quality of anything.

The service was beyond horrendous. Not only were the waitor offended when we didn’t choose the wine he wanted (without us asking), he talked right through you. He asked if we were ready to order, and we told him that we needed five more minutes. He then seemed annoyed, and basically fell down behind your shoulder to make you order and refused to leave or to let you speak. And all of a sudden, he just left with half of the order, without listening. Because you were done speaking when he decided.

Now. While the food was mediocre at best, the wine was splendid. The pasta was hard aka not boiled long enough. The mozzarella was like rubber, and a seafood special was as tasteless as it looked. All in all, the food came undone. And we didn’t eat 3 of the 4 dishes we ordered. The manager was also of no help whatsoever, and by no means service orientated. We told him about the service, and that we would pay for the 1 dish and all the beverage we consumed, but not the food we didn’t eat. Not only because it was bad, but because of the service we also recieved throughout. He basically said: Alright, so the service was bad. So what? That is not my area. The food was bad? Not my problem.

Which really sums up the entire restaurant: Only in for the money, because it’s a crowded area. Never mind if the service, food or attitude is bad. Would highly recomend to go further down the street, and not place yourselves at...

It was my first Napoli pizza after having the best in Sorrento. Unfortunately the pizza was not made to my liking as it was terribly burnt. I’m unsure if Napoli pizzas are meant to be burnt but I do not like the taste of burnt dough and it is also very cancerous to consume burnt food. You can see the pics here. Issue is the fire in their oven
it seems like they do it fast food style so it gets cooked in 3 minutes. The cheese and tomato paste were very wet and soggy in the middle. I thought it was just the sides that were burnt which I could still pick out but no
underneath the dough was also badly burnt. Hence the taste was bad not the ingredients but the burnt parts mixed in. I wish they could use a slow heat to cook the pizza so it wouldn’t get burnt. It’s like barbecue isn’t it? A slow consistent heat will cook it evenly but a big fire will cook it fast and burnt. Btw they only allow pizzas for take away. Dining there has service, tableware and cover charges. Staff wasn’t the friendliest but they got...

I had a really bad experience in this restaurant, I ordered pasta with ragĂč napoletano, but when the dish came on my table it was just pasta tomato and basil, no meat at all. I called the waiter to ask him about it, but he just replied that the sauce was cooked with the meat, but later removed, therefore no meat in my plate. I have been working as a chef for over 15 years and I could identify a sauce with meat or without just by looking at it and this sauce didn’t have meat at all! When I approached to the till to pay my bill, I raised my concern to the cashier, but the answer was exactly the same, seems like this restaurant made a new version of the Classic RagĂș Napoletano without telling it in the menu. In addition, they charge me the service claiming that this was mandatory. I had enough of this restaurant and their workers, I just paid and leave. I contacted them privately through facebook, but they wouldn’t reply, Just a bot that appreciates...

Got lucky finding this place but it was out of tired laziness after I checked into my hotel and picked the closest restaurant. Service was not that great and our server barely spoke English but that's how you know a place is authentic! 😂 The food was sooooo good and possibly the best I've had in Italy. Even though the menu is massive and lengthy, everything they serve here is delicious and we came back for a second evening to try more stuff. Highly recommend the breasaolo, steak, minestrone soup, french fries (I've never seen fries cut in this unique and hand-cut shape before!), and of course their seafood pasta. Other people's dishes and pizza looked great too. Prices affordable too. Good people watching if you sit on the outside patio but it can be a little loud and busy given that it's so close to the train station.
