DO NOT EAT HERE! 6 of us arrived to the restaurant to read the menu. We were seated upon arrival and eventually handed menus. After 10 minutes without being served we decided to stand up and ask where to place our order. The response we received was, "wait one moment," while being ushered back to our table. Eventually, after another 5 minutes, the waiter came to take our order. As our Italian was not very strong there was some difficultly placing our order. We eventually discovered he spoke English. We had to complaints over the food or the timing it took until we asked for the check. Again we were welcomed with the "wait one moment." he then brought the check out. As there was 6 of us we asked to split the bill so we could pay separately, the waiter then rolled his eyes and mutter some Italian under his breath before snatching the bill up and walking back into the restaurant. After a few minutes he returned with one bill for each person at a time. Each time we paid we received a roll of the eyes and snatching of our bill! As I didn't have enough cash I asked to pay with card (which they had) only to be yelled out before snatching my card off me and waking into the restaurant. After a few minutes I walked into the restaurant to make sure they were putting the right amount into the machine! After asking to see how much I was paying, they didn't let me see. I then asked for a receipt to which he shook his head and handed my card back! Absolutely terrible service! Food was not worth the service, eat at burger kind across the road, at least you'll be greeted...

I ordered the vesuvio, which is made with mozzarella and when I tried it, it clearly had smoked cheese and was incredibly salty. The waitress was entirely unhelpful, offered no refund, replacement or apology and I payed full price for a pizza which I ate less than 2 slices of, unfortunately would not recommend. On the other hand the genovese pizza that my friend had was very tasty and well seasoned, so if you're planning on dining here I would recommend this instead. Not the best experience for my first pizza...
Read moreIt’s a classic pizzeria and you can feel the history the moment you walk in. We had a salad, pasta and pizza and 3 drinks for about 30 euro which I think was great for the quality. I had the smoked cheese pizza with zucchini and eggplant. I gottta say the smoked cheese wasn’t my favorite in a pizza. I prefer margherita style but the crust was very good. The pasta was my favorite, it was simple but exceptional quality. I love that you can see the hard working chefs doing their thing the moment you walk in the door. The vibe is cozy and family feeling. Really great place explains why the line...
