Cute little shop with nice seating Indoors and sheltered seating out.
Very personal service. After a week of roasted-to-oblivion ristretto in the deep south and Sicily I was in desperate need of something balanced.
Gardelli coffee was on the counter. A good sign 🙏
Raining out I wanted to sit with something slightly longer... but not so long as to divert my plan for all the things I needed to tick off before my afternoon train. So I went for a flat white.
Maybe it was the dearth of great coffee I'd just experienced but ... that was one of the best flat whites I've ever had.
Very rarely on the continent does someone check with you how you like it (good coffee shops in southern France might serve you something more like what I'd call a latte if you ask for a flat white and you have to figure out how to get them to make it shorter ... Aussie or UK style). I was asked and the size and flavour profile I received was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Rich and balanced and SO satisfying.
Well worth a detour if you're anywhere near this...
Read moreI had never try quality coffee before I came here, despite believing I've tasted some great espressos in some bar around the city. 100% Arabica espresso, made with curated seeds picking and roasting is a different experience, and you should totally try it, because from that moment on you'll want to taste only quality coffees. This tiny, beautiful location in the heart of Vomero district has changed the way I think about and drink coffee. Moreover, where the main product quality is so high, don't you think other specialities would be much different: here I had some of the best "apertass" and "Negroni" aperitivo, american coffee, some really good tea qualities and great wines as well. I'm not a frequent 5 stars user, but after a lot of different great experiencies here, I'm absolutely a satisfied and...
Read moreHello everyone,
We had planned to sit outside in this hot weather, but there is construction work happening outside, causing construction debris to constantly rain down on our drinks and food. Therefore, we moved indoors.
Unfortunately, the food quality is quite poor. We even had the worst Bruschetta we've ever eaten in Italy here. It seems like they use frozen bread rolls, and overall, everything is not well-prepared, possibly due to the seating arrangement. However, the coffee is great. One of our orders was also forgotten, which was quite disappointing.
It's worth noting that they offer a -20% discount for leaving a positive review on our next visit, which seems like a way to manipulate reviews. This shouldn't be the case, as it can mislead...
