After walking through the lovely streets and lanes of Napoli we were a bit hungry. Walked by this little place. The displayed food looked very good and there were lots of locals around. A good sign.
Ordered some meatballs and a slice of Pizza di Scarola e Oliva - a local specialty. The food was really handmade and homemade. And done very very well. The filling of the pizza (which is more like a stuffed bread actually) was generous and the veggies tasty. The meatballs were amazing. Nicely spiced and probably made out of pork or pork sausage. Hot and soft inside with a good crust outside. Good stuff. Went back and ordered another handfull of them.
It's really wonderful streetfood here. Really the kind of stuff you look for when visiting other countries. And it did cost only a few Euros. Excellent value. Very much enjoyed the food here. Next time in Napoli we will definitely...
Read moreUnfortunately I did not have a good experience here. I asked for the fried seafood but they ran out. I asked him to cancel my order for whatever else he was making me but he said no. I was given a cup of fried dough and fried balls of rice that I paid €5 and I’m pretty sure the cost of that is about €2-3.
I told him I did not want that but he didn’t seem to care and just wanted to keep the money. I was left so disappointed ! Thankfully I found another spot that was great. Would not come back here. Very bad...

I caught it straight out of the oven so everything was perfect, tried it again a couple of days later and it wasn't the same experience since it had been sitting there for a while but still good for the price. Meatballs also very nice, I wish I had the time to taste...
