Could have been better... The old could were aguring a lot... The man, just went back and forward and did nothing. He just gave all the task to the smiling servant, a girl whom was the only one Smiling... They gave us the the salad, without giving us the anything to eat with... After 10 min staring at our appetiser we got our cutleries to eat with. The old couple could seems to be the owners, they should retire, because they don't honestly don't do anything good for the restaurant and hand it over to somebody whom ACTUALLY know how to do service in a place where there is a lot of Turist. The old couple ruined the atmosphere around the place, not even smiling at all and their attitudes were off and timing off serving. Be aware, the food is very small portions... For the price, not worth it... We paid 73,50 for: 1 salad of caprese: mozzarella og tomato (see he picture) 2x of pasta and ragu, not meat in it, just one tiny piece, that came I a small bowl. And a bottle of white wine to 24 Euro.

Monsù is a culinary masterpiece that beautifully showcases traditional Neapolitan cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere promise an unforgettable dining experience. The highlights of our meal were nothing short of spectacular—the Alici fritte con sale e pepe were perfectly crispy and seasoned, setting the tone for what was to come. The Ragù was the best I’ve ever tasted, rich with deep flavors that truly embody the essence of Naples. Equally noteworthy were the Salsicce e friarielli, a harmonious combination of savory sausage and vibrant greens that danced on the palate. While we didn’t indulge in dessert, I can only imagine they would be equally fantastic, perfectly capping off an already sublime meal. Monsù deserves an easy 5 out of 5 stars, and if I could give it more, I absolutely would! A must-visit for anyone wanting to savor authentic Neapolitan fare!

Maybe the best meal we had in Italy, and we went to a Michelin restaurant… We kept it simple: one contorni (app) and two primi (pasta mains), plus a half liter of wine from Montepulciano. Everything we had was beyond excellent. My partner had the ragù, while I had the genovese vegan version with pecorino added, and we started with the baked zucchini, pumpkin, tomato dish that was out of this world. All of our pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and my genovese tasted like if french onion soup were a consommé and it blew my mind. Would absolutely return here and absolutely order these same dishes. It is SO HARD to find a vegan-friendly restaurant in a country as traditional as Italy, so we were thankful to come across Monsù and their multiple adaptations of local dishes to the vegan palate. Waiters were so kind and efficient as well, and very accommodating. 5 stars all the way around!

Tucked into a charming alleyway in Naples, Monsù delivers an unforgettable dining experience that feels as local and authentic as it gets. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a cozy little table surrounded by walls of vibrant, artistic graffiti—an open-air gallery that perfectly captures the spirit of Napoli. Across from us, small shops displaying exquisite leather goods added a dash of elegance to the already picturesque scene.

The service was nothing short of exceptional—warm, attentive, and effortlessly welcoming. The food? Sublime. The ragù Genovese pasta, slow-cooked to perfection over 20 hours, was rich, comforting, and full of soul. Paired with a bold red wine, refreshing spritzes (Campari and limoncello), we were fully immersed in the easy rhythm of Neapolitan life.

To cap it all off, the homemade tiramisu was exactly what one dreams of when thinking about authentic Italian desserts—light, creamy, and layered with tradition. Monsù feels less like a restaurant and more like a hidden gem created for locals but generously shared with the lucky few who stumble upon it. A must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the true...

Five stars for the food as it was amazing. Knocking off 2 stars for the bad service.

Service left a lot to be desired. At the beginning, it was good but then it just delved into chaos. Was not offered any dessert, had to get up myself to get the dessert menu while being ignored. Took another 20 min for the dessert to arrive.

Wanted to pay the bill and was told to come to register if I wanted to pay by card. Went to the register with the waiter who then proceeded to ignore me for another 15 minutes while I was waiting at the register (yet somehow other clients could pay right away with their cards).

Eventually I had to raise my voice and ask the waiter if I could pay or not. Bill was 82 euros (no problem there) and the waiter asked me how much I wanted to pay (so indirectly asking for a tip) and he was surprised I didn't want to tip, despite the fact that he knew that my table was ignored for the last part of dinner.

REMINDER: if I tip, it is for the service, not the food. In this case, the service was not up to par so no tip. The staff needs to be...
