RISTORANTE INAQUA — Restaurant in Olbia

We went to Inaqua on a Monday evening as a group of four. The food was excellent; however, the same cannot be said about the service. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with beautiful and classy decor, although the music was quite loud and mixed with that of other nearby restaurants, likely to drown out the noise from the road near the terrace. The first surprise: there were no physical menus; instead, the menu was available via a QR code, which is becoming increasingly common in establishments these days but is not pleasant at all. We waited for a while (and this was just the beginning) to place our order. A waiter arrived and interrupted us right away, saying that he didn’t speak English (even though we had spoken in Italian), and told us he would send a colleague, which he didn’t do, and we had to ask again. I should mention that the restaurant was not busy at all. Nothing to say about the waitress who then took care of our table—she was very cheerful and gave good advice. The starter arrived, and it was truly delightful. Then we waited for 1.5 hours for the main course, which was also delicious and impressed us all. Needless to say, we didn’t order dessert for fear of waiting...

Dining at Inaqua satisfies the palate and the soul. You have outdone yourself again.

Great food. My recommandations : lobster pasta were really good and well cooked, gambero rosso also. Service : was just an awful moment ! The waiter stressed us out the entire evening. He pressured us to order and consume quickly; as soon as one person finished a dish, he would remove it even before the others were done. He kept pushing the wine, the desserts… In short, the waiter ruined our evening with his eagerness to clear the table, even though the restaurant was still half-empty. The other waiters seemed kind and friendly, although clearly very stressed by the fact that both the head waiter and the owners were watching them closely, seizing every opportunity to comment on the slightest “misstep.” This created a general feeling of discomfort, the exact opposite of a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Ambiance : nice terrasse with live music, but music was a bit to loud, we had to scream to speak...
