Update: Yes, meat and bread is cut on a cutting board, but the SAME one with bread touching raw meat? I don't understand the confusion on this. Of course gloves should be changed between certain food. This is not an attack on character, I mean so offense but in the moment of witnessing this for food I have spent my money on, it will be an emotionally off-putting experience and hard to eat.
I got a sandwich from here a couple times because it was flavorful and near by to where I was staying. This time however, I watched how they do their cooking.
One man is cutting raw meat on the two plastic cutting boards with the same gloves for everything. Another man that serves is taking bread that he’s cutting with his bare hands after he’s been serving others and touching everything and starts cutting it on the same cutting board where raw meat has been!
They seem to not care as when the order comes up, he checked inside opening the bread with his bare hands to see which sandwich this was and served it to customers after.
This place clearly cuts corners right in front of you and gives no regard to health and sanitary standards!!
I am absolutely disgusted to have witnessed such horrible practices in front of me and can only imagine how gross they are in cutting corners when no one’s looking.
