Achtung:: unangemessene Preise fĂŒr Imbisse!
âââââ Warning: exorbitant prices for food!
This small TIMI bar is charming, just like its owner. The opening hours are 'freestyle': you can never be sure if, when and for how long it will be open.
The owner loves his wines and is happy to offer a "good glass". Prices per glass are between 8 and 9 euros.
However, if you order a small snack with your wine, e.g. meatballs, and then pay a whopping 17 euros, you feel very 'cheated' and 'ripped off'.
Just around the corner is the exclusive SEVEN roof terrace restaurant: here you can eat an exquisite, first-class large plate for 20 euros, almost at star level!
I was almost a regular... but 17 euros for a small snack in a bar without a proper kitchen... not a good thing.
I won't be returning to this restaurant because the enjoyment is limited by the unreasonable prices. What a pity.

Stumbling upon Bar Timi was like discovering a secret treasure in the heart of Palermo! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to an extraordinary culinary experience that went far beyond a typical breakfast spot.
The owner's passion is immediately evident - especially when it comes to his olives. These weren't just any olives, but lovingly grown on his own estate in southern Sicily. Each bite was a testament to his dedication and the rich agricultural heritage of the region.
The Pistacchio crĂšme was simply transcendent - so divine it seemed to have descended directly from heaven. Creamy, rich, and absolutely unforgettable.
But the absolute highlight? The Negroni. Prepared personally by the owner, who clearly has a deep love for this iconic cocktail, it was more than just a drink - it was a performance. His accompanying story made the experience magical, transforming a simple cocktail into a memorable moment of connection.

Read moreWe stumbled upon this little gem on our last day in Palermo and immediately wished we had discovered it sooner. This place truly redefines what a hidden gem means.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the owner, Timi â an absolute delight. He suggested we try the parmigiana, and we are so glad we listened. It was, without exaggeration, the best parmigiana we've ever had. What started as a quick stop for a bite turned into a memorable experience as we ended up sampling the pasta as well â equally outstanding.
The olives, grown on Timiâs own farm in the south of the island, were hands-down the best weâve ever tasted. Everything was so delicious and full of heart that we couldnât leave without buying some of his products to bring a piece of this experience home with us.
Timi, youâve set the bar. This wasnât a 5/5 â...
