Coquette — Restaurant in Palermo

I stumbled upon Coquette while looking for a place to have lunch and ended up having one of the best lasagnas I've ever tasted! The Aperol was perfectly made, and the atmosphere and team were just as lovely as the food.

I also got to try Flavio's Pomelia Elisir—a slightly bitter liqueur with a floral nose and a bold, distinctive flavor. I really appreciated its unique taste. From what I understood, the lasagna is his nonna's recipe, and Pomelia was created in her memory. You can feel the heart behind both.

Such a special find in Palermo—warm and kind people, delicious food, and a beautiful touch of personal history that easily turns a great meal into a wonderful memory....

We just dropped into this new place on a Sunday for coffee, and we were made very welcome. There was also a lunch menu, but we were there in the morning. There are a few small rooms or corners inside with comfortable chairs around the walls, an unusual and most pleasant touch. We had our drinks outside to enjoy the sun, and we were treated to a pleasant table service. The establishment seems to be aiming towards more art-inclined customers. We discovered this amazing gem when we arrived in Palermo and so far we have not been disappointed.

Brunch today was a gorgeous leaf and tomato salad and fresh bread. For mains we both had the home made lasagna classico. It was one of the best lasagnas I have ever eaten.

My husband had a local beer from Macina and I had a lovely white wine from Sicily.

The cocktail menu is extensive and the staff are happy to offer suggestions.
