Da Enzo Trattoria Ristorante Mondello — Restaurant in Palermo

Wir waren am Karfreitag im Lokal Essen und haben als Vorspeise Muscheln gegessen. Die nächsten zwei Tage hatten wir Durchfall und Magenschmerzen. Die Muschlen waren anscheinend nicht frisch. Die Pasta war zu hart, nicht al dente. Qualität und Menge sosolala und dafür ganz schön teuer. Im Hummer Basin lagen zwei Tote Hummer und das Basain war relative schmutzig. Nicht sehr appetite anregend. Sehr schade das man sich mit so einem Lokal die letzten Tage des Urlaubs versaut. Also Vorsicht! Wir haben in anderen Lokalen in Palermo auch Muscheln und Fisch gegessen und hatten da keine Probleme.

"We were on Good Friday in at the Restaurant and ate mussels as an appetizer. The next two days we had diarrhea and stomach ache. The mussels were apparently not fresh. The pasta was too hard, not al dente. Quality and quantity not good for that price. There were two dead lobsters in the lobster basin, and the basin was relatively dirty. Not very stimulating. It is a pity that one messes up with such a restaurant the last days of the holiday. So be careful! We also ate mussels and fish in other places in Palermo and had no problems there. "

"Siamo stati il venerdì santo nel cibo locale e abbiamo mangiato le cozze come antipasto. I due giorni successivi abbiamo avuto diarrea e mal di stomaco. Le cozze apparentemente non erano fresche. La pasta era troppo dura, non al dente. Qualità e quantità di sosolala e piuttosto costose. C'erano due aragoste morte nel bacino di aragosta, e il basano era relativamente sporco. Non molto stimolante. È un peccato che uno incasini con un ristorante come gli ultimi giorni di vacanza. Quindi stai attento! Abbiamo anche mangiato cozze e pesce in altri posti a Palermo e non abbiamo avuto...

Had a terrible experience. I don't know if it was because we were not Italians or something but it was one of the worst I've ever had. When we arrived we were dispatched to a remote table that stinked from the nearby sewers, far from the sight of the waiters. Then we had to wait 15 minutes before actually never getting the menu (I had to actually go and get it myself). After another 30 minutes wait (half of it with my hand raised like a kid trying to get some attention from the waiters) I actually had to yell "Please" before being noticed. Afterwards it took 20 minutes for the waiter to come take our order, but when he arrived he actually said something along the lines of "I have forgotten something" and just disappeared for another 5 minutes. We finally got the chance to order. I wanted a pizza and but the waiter said to me that it was now too late to order a pizza (we had been there for over an hour...) and when I was about to leave he asked for my name in a condescending fashion before suggesting some fish based dishes (even though I told him I don't eat fish) After actually ordering a side dish as my main meal it took them 25 minutes to bring me my salad (seriously) and my wife's pastas. The whole thing for a mere 40 euros....

Un'esperienza a metà a Mondello

La Trattoria da Enzo , situata nella pittoresca piazzetta di Mondello, cattura subito l'attenzione dei passanti grazie alla sua vetrinetta di pesce fresco in bella vista.

Una promessa di qualità che purtroppo non viene mantenuta in pieno una volta seduti al tavolo.

L'ambiente esterno, sebbene in una bella location, è reso "grezzo" dall'uso di tovagliato in plastica, un dettaglio che stride con l'idea di un ristorante di livello, specialmente considerando i prezzi applicati.

E qui veniamo alla nota dolente: il conto.

Pur riconoscendo la buona qualità e la buona preparazione dei piatti , i prezzi risultano decisamente sproporzionati.

Per fare un esempio : un piatto di pasta che varia dai 18 ai 30 euro è un costo eccessivo, persino per una località turistica.

La percezione di un trattamento differenziato

L'aspetto che lascia più l'amaro in bocca è la netta sensazione di una doppia politica dei prezzi.

Vedendo come ordinano e le portate mangiate ( dall’antipasto al dolce, un locale dovrebbe pagare con i prezzi del menu circa 150 euro a testa) da chi abita in loco , si ha la percezione che i turisti vengano trattati in modo diverso rispetto ai clienti locali, con un conto finale che sembra ingiustificato e, per certi versi, poco corretto per i turisti . ( è una percezione )

Questa spiacevole sensazione non è un caso isolato, ma sembra essere una prassi comune in diversi locali della zona, come se ci fosse un accordo tra i ristoratori per "spennare" i visitatori.

Questa cosa là si avverte come una mancanza di accoglienza e trasparenza che mina la fiducia e l'esperienza complessiva.

In sintesi, la Trattoria da Enzo offre piatti di buona qualità, ma l'esperienza è rovinata dal rapporto qualità-prezzo sbilanciato e dalla percepita mancanza di trasparenza nei confronti dei turisti.
