Stopped in late afternoon for a drink. We were greeted by a super kind woman who was excited to tell us all about the place since it was our first time in. She treated us and everyone who came into the tea house as though they were her close friends. The atmosphere was so pleasant and relaxed. She took her time explaining to us all about the teas and cocktails that we were interested in. There are over 100 types of tea to choose from - but it was not overwhelming as there are a few choice selections to smell and explore before you make your decision. We tried the Brazilian gin and tonic! So good- slightly fruity, not overly sweet. A delicious afternoon cocktail. We ordered an apple pastry that was a delicious accompaniment. She brought out some little crispy cookie/crackers that were also delicious and beautiful, dusted in pistachio (I think) a sesame one and a cinnamon one. I love this place and wish we had something like this in my hometown. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something special and different than your average bar/cafe. Get an infused gin and tonic!

An incredible place - absolutely loved the philosophy and the whole tea experience visiting this gem of a place. I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. Claudia (an absolute sweetheart) takes you through the experience of taking your time to smell your way through continents & flavours of tea at your leisure - you pick a mug & tea infuser, fill up your infuser and then Claudia comes round with hot water & a timer. Such a genius concept. You feel part of the process and experience. Tea selection is superb. And quality of tea exceptional. The owner is a master at selecting teas. Even purple tea leaves I’ve never come across. There’s delicious accompanying range of cakes and biscuits too - chosen to compliment the teas. AND gin infused teas too! Honestly a hidden backstreet gem of a place. Highly highly recommended. I absolutely loved visiting 3 times for tea & cake/biscuits & a wonderful chat with Claudia. I also bought some teas to take home to London & received a sweet Palermo tea gift - will for sure return. Just superb!

I deeply enjoyed the philosophy and the atmosphere of the place. They have a good selection of teas covering black, green, white, oolong, infusions. It’s all good quality and has some rare gems - we bought some local tea to take as souvenirs for friends. It’s a special place in Palermo and it was great to have a cup of tea in otherwise coffee dominated city. Highly recommended.

What a pleasure to discover that there are such gems in Palermo and also to be able to talk to someone who really knows about tea! I didn't consume anything on the spot, but I did buy a few teas, having seen online that the range on offer was really sought after and not mainstream. I have already tasted them, of course, and they are really high quality and really delicious! I also had a long chat with the girl who served me - really nice and so easy going! - and she explained to me that the purpose of this tea shop/room is really to bring the culture of tea to Palermo, to guide people in the discovery of new flavours and to create an environment for those who might want to stop in a tea room to read a good book, work on their PC and enjoy a 'cuppa' in the meantime. They also have a small selection of high quality gins and some that they produce themselves, which I will definitely try when I return to Palermo :) In short, Fai da Thè is a rare treat and I highly recommend it!👍
