We thought we couldn’t go wrong with a 4,3 rated restaurant, big mistake. The owner was behind every waiter at each table to micromanage them (and make sure they offer you their expensive 8€ spritz to start). The bruschetta starter was made with the same bread they give you with the « coperto » fee, just with few tomatoes on top of it. The panelle and croquette are not home made and we couldn’t finish them because they didn’t taste great. The worst part came when we got our pasta dishes. I got served my carbonara with a plate full of squid ink on the plate’s edge (stained from somebody’s else dish in the kitchen). Because it was dark I noticed it only after few minutes when my hands were all black. My light pants also got stained. No apologies from the staff, nor any discount despite I complained.
On top of that i have to agree with the other comments, the carbonara were extremely salty, I couldn’t finish. The bolognese were really not good and the pasta not homemade. Well, we left at soon as we could. Giving 2 points for the waiters who were nice but who seem harassed by owner...

We had high hopes for this restaurant in Palermo, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was not spectacular, and the service left a lot to be desired. One major issue was that drink prices weren’t listed on the menu, and when we asked how much the wine cost, the waitress responded by making a sarcastic remark to another staff member, the one who was out front trying to bring people in off the street. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. She seemed clearly annoyed by our question, and after that, someone else took over our table but even then, we never received bread, and no one came to check if we were happy with the meal. Overall, it felt like we were more of a burden than welcome guests. Not the nicest people, and definitely not worth the money. There are plenty of better places in Palermo to enjoy a meal — I’d suggest...
Read moreFraud of my life. We set inside to eat, got water and started to wait for the waiter to take an order…. It took a bit of time, but well. My husband has ordered meat and I ordered “grilled mix”. In English it says: prawns, dwarf fish and colmar. I had to go home as my baby started to cry. My husband had to finish his dish and take food home for me. He came back with both dishes as a waiter didn’t understand him. But the best part starts; You can see what was in my box: fries (although not mentioned in the menu?), 1 prawn 🤣🤣🤣 (in the menu it is written prawnS), another fish , HALF of a tiny octopus and a squid.
How convenient that we left and the restaurant can simply throw smth in a box!
According to the restaurant they didn’t have a sword fish so they used another fish w/o telling us…. What a fraud.
One prawn? In the menu it’s plural…
Half a tiny octopus? That...
